One of the most anticipated debuts of the NBA Summer League schedule happened Saturday, as the Los Angeles Lakers and rookie Bronny James faced off against the Sacramento Kings in the California Classic.
James has quickly become among the most controversial players in the league, mostly because of the obvious nepotism involved in his selection and contract status.

Well regardless of the motivations, James is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

The John Deere Classic has a marathon on its hands as these five PGA Tour players took Moving Day seriously.
Saturday at the John Deere Classic saw so many birdies at TPC Deere Run. The 54-hole leader, Davis Thompson, made nine en route to his 9-under 62. He leads the field by two shots at 21-under.
The former Georgia Bulldog was not the only PGA Tour player to take advantage of Moving Day.
Thirty-four players shot 68 or better, which helped many of them skyrocket up the leaderboard.

Saturday’s qualifying session at the British Grand Prix was not kind to Alpine
Despite a recent run of good form, Alpine knew things would be a little tougher at this weekend’s British Grand Prix.
The team installed five new components on Pierre Gasly’s A524 ahead of the weekend, and with each component above the team’s allotment for the season, a ten-place grid penalty was added. Technically, Gasly was hit with a 50-place grid penalty for this weekend’s race, meaning he will start at the back of the grid in tomorrow’s main event.

Wimbledon is happening right now, but while that event was happening on English soil, a good portion of the country had their eyes on what was happening in Germany with the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament and England’s match against Switzerland.
Apparently, some of the people who were on hand to watch Novak Djokovic take on Alexei Popyrin were keeping tabs on soccer too, because they wound up interrupting the tennis match.
As the Serbian tennis great was preparing to return a serve from Popyrin when the crowd started to cheer seemingly out of nowhere.

England is through to the semifinals of the 2024 Euros, after a penalty shootout win over Switzerland.
But as is so often the case, the headline doesn’t cover the details of the story. England once again trailed late in the match, going down in the 75th minute after a fantastic, much deserved goal from Switzerland.
Just five minutes later though, against the run of play, England scored to equalize from well outside the box.
The team clung to a tie through 90 minutes, despite being thoroughly outplayed. Switzerland’s expected goals were 1.21, compared to England’s 0.52.
