Caleb Williams made some unprecedented asks in his rookie contract.
Caleb Williams has finally signed his rookie contract with the Chicago Bears. What took so long? Williams’ representatives were reportedly making some unprecedented requests for his contract before he put his name on the dotted line.
Williams was still participating in rookie and team activities, but he hadn’t signed his four-year, $39 million deal with the Bears until earlier this week.

Romain Langasque, competing in his fourth career Open Championship, has withdrawn due to a back injury.
After stepping up to the tee at the par-3 8th, the famous 123-yard hole known as ‘The Postage Stamp,’ Langasque hit an 84-yard-tee shot into thick fescue well short of the green. He slapped his second shot well over the putting surface and into more trouble.

That victory has now spilled over to the Formula 1 world.
Thursday was media day at the Hungarian Grand Prix, with the drivers and teams arriving in the paddock in Budapest for their media duties. As each driver arrived, they found a personalized parking space waiting for them.
The Formula 1 drivers market puzzle is almost complete, and we had another piece fall into place on Thursday ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix with news that Kevin Magnussen‘s second tour of duty with Haas will come to an end when the checkered flag flies at the season finale in Abu Dhabi later this year.
In all honesty, this was not unexpected.

McIlroy and DeChambeau looked defeated in Round One of The Open as they fell victim to Royal Troon’s carnage
Round One of the Open Championship has tested PGA Tour and LIV Golf players quite a bit.
Look no further than Bryson DeChambeau and Rory McIlroy, who looked lost at Royal Troon on Thursday. The top two names from last month’s U.S. Open shot well over par.
DeChambeau carded a 5-over 76, a round that included five bogeys, one double bogey, and one eagle on the par-5 16th.
