The food situation has been awful, there’s no air conditioning, and it got so bad that a gold medal-winning swimmer was seen sleeping in a Parisian park because that was an upgrade.
However, on the other side of the world, surfers competing for gold in French Polynesia appear to have had it a little bit better, because one Olympian’s biggest complaint about his situation is nothing compared to being served fish with worms in it.

A huge 122-87 win over Brazil in the quarterfinals takes USA to a 4-0 record in the games, with an average win margin of 24.75 points. The PGA Tour got a fantastic reaction from Brandt Snedeker when he found out he was the 2024 Payne Stewart Award recipient.
The PGA Tour and Southern Company announced Tuesday that Brandt Snedeker is the 2024 Payne Stewart Award winner.
He thought the producers wanted to discuss the Brandt Snedeker Foundation, but it turned out to be an emotional moment for the PGA Tour veteran.
The producers off-screen asked him about his foundation, and Snedeker began to answer, but his wife Mandy quickly interrupted, telling him he had a call he could not miss.
