The Mavericks acquired Lakers’ star big man Anthony Davis, 31, in a trade. With Davis’ history of injuries, there was widespread fear that AD would not deliver a significant return in exchange for the prized Doncic.
Well, it took just one game in a Mavericks uniform for Davis to get injured, and the extent of his injury looks serious.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Anthony Davis is expected to sit out multiple weeks because of a left adductor strain.

Super Bowl LIX is officially in the books.
With their 40-22 route of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions. The Eagles dominated both lines of scrimmage and pressured Patrick Mahomes throughout the night, and Jalen Hurts threw for a pair of touchdowns and added another one on the ground as Philadelphia built a big halftime lead and pulled away in the second half.

Jalen Hurts is a Super Bowl MVP!
Jalen Hurts has been criticized through much of the NFL season as being the weakness of the Eagles, but he turned that all around when it mattered the most. Hurts was the biggest difference-maker in Philadelphia’s stunning 40-22 win in Super Bowl LIX.
Hurts finished with 17-for-22, 221 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT — with another 11 carries for 72 yards and a TD.
