Monday, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced its watchlist of 50 women’s college basketball stars for its National Player of the Year award. Within that list were the usual names like USC’s JuJu Watkins, UConn’s Paige Bueckers and Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo.
Another name was Ohio State junior forward Cotie McMahon, who joined the national conversation through a few big moments in her first two seasons.

Brooks Koepka took a two-shot lead into the final round of the 2023 Masters. A two-shot lead coupled with a guy who already had four major championships to his name at that point, and the green jacket was certainly his to lose, which he ultimately did in a rather tough fashion with Jon Rahm securing a four-shot win over Phil Mickelson and Koepka.
Following his final round 75, Koepka kept it real as he always does, and admitted that he choked the tournament away.

Trey Howard, a 10-year-old Eagles fan, found himself in a horrific scene last week when a jet crashed in Northeast Philadelphia, leading to seven lost lives and injuring 24.
The fallen jet landed in the proximity of the young boy, and he suffered injuries from the flying pieces of metal that launched from the impact.
According to the account of his father, Andrew Howard, Jr., Trey protected one of his younger siblings by jumping on top of her to shield her from debris as the jet crashed near the family’s vehicle.

Ferrari announced Zhou Guanyu and Antonio Giovinazzi will be their reserved drivers for the 2025 F1 season
Zhou Guanyu lost his seat at Sauber following the 2024 Formula 1 season, as the team added Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto as their drivers for the 2025 season and beyond.
But the Chinese driver will still be in the paddock this upcoming season.
Ferrari announced their reserve drivers for the upcoming season on Wednesday, pairing current reserve Antonio Giovinazzi with Zhou.
