What are the Dallas Cowboys doing? It’s fair to ask because this Jerry Jones team that once represented what all of America should aspire to – excellence, quality, respect – has lost all of that this NFL season.
That’s not hyperbole.
This is serious. And sad.
The news out of The Star, which is the Cowboys’ amazing practice facility, is that the Cowboys acquired wide receiver Jonathan Mingo from the Carolina Panthers prior to the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday. The Panthers announced the terms of the deal.

Kansas City Chiefs player James Winchester has officially taken a seat on the Donald Trump train.
It’s Election Day in America, and that means millions of votes are being cast to decide if Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will be the next President.
With time winding down, more and more people are making it clear where they stand. Joe Rogan endorsed Trump, Nick Bosa made his love for the former President and Republican leader clear and you can now add James Winchester to the list.

Fantasy football analyst and neuroscientist Renee Miller examines several Week 9 performances to determine what’s the real deal … and what’s merely a fluke.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could have attempted to take a late lead over the Kansas City Chiefs with a two-point conversion on Monday night, but ultimately kicked the extra point before going into overtime and losing 30-24.
Hindsight is always 20/20, especially when talking about what would have been a risky two-point attempt, but the explanation Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles shared as to why he opted not to go for two was certainly a head-scratcher.
According to him, it wasn’t worth going for two because the field was wet. He actually said that.

The worst, funniest trade of the deadline.
The Cowboys’ season is in shambles, and their solution is to make of the weirdest, most-hilarious trades of the season. On Tuesday morning it was announced that the Carolina Panthers were trading WR Jonathan Mingo and a 7th round pick to Dallas in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2025.
There’s no use mincing words here: Mingo was a bust.
There has never been a player like Zion and that makes the blueprint to success all the more challenging.
Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, once again, proved he’s a content machine.
The Cowboys are currently suffering through a brutally disappointing 3-6 season. Gundy’s squad doesn’t have a single Big 12 win and has lost six straight.
That includes a fresh blowout loss to Arizona State this past weekend. The season has been nothing short of a disaster, but Gundy doesn’t want to hear much from the poor seats.
The Oklahoma State coach is known for being a quote machine.
