I’m a big fan of gifts that quarterbacks buy for their offensive line. I mean, I’d be a bigger fan if I was getting some of these gifts, but I still enjoy them as a spectator, and I think it’s probably a good idea to really go all out for the guys whose job it is to make sure your skull doesn’t get put through the turf.
Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes has proven himself to be elite on this front, and his efforts this season do not buck that trend.

The pilot of a plane that was traveling from Michigan to White Plains, New York experienced mechanical problems and crashed Thursday morning, killing the pilot – and that tragedy is touching Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins.
The 1979 Beechcraft A36 crashed in a wooded area between two residences – both of those properties owned by Dawkins.
The craft was still engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on the scene.
Dawkins was already at the Bills training facility when it happened, and he doesn’t actually live at the home closest to the accident.
