BERLIN (AP) — As the first and only woman to be appointed head coach of a men’s professional soccer team in Germany, Sabrina Wittmann faces more pressure and scrutiny than most of her counterparts.
Wittmann has been the coach of her hometown club, third-division Ingolstadt, since May 2024, when she took over for the last four games of the season. Ingolstadt didn’t lose any and won the Bavarian Cup, and Wittmann made history when she was given the job on a permanent basis that June.

The Diamond Ducks turned out wins yesterday, while women’s basketball ended their Big Ten tournament run at the hands of Michigan. Here is how yesterday’s action went down:

Baseball vs. Purdue
The Ducks headed to the Midwest for a weekend series against the Purdue Boilermakers.
This first game had Will Sanfordtake the hill for the Ducks, against Purdue’s Cole Van Assen. 
The Ducks scored a run each in the first and second innings. In the bottom of the second inning, Purdue took advantage of a pair of Sanford walks and a single to score their first run on a sacrifice fly.
