7-foot high school basketball star Peyton Marshall gave one of his opponents a double-portion of humiliation on Sunday.
During a matchup against RWE, Cold Hearts center Peyton Marshall was in the paint protecting the rim. RWE’s point guard, Daquan Davis, drove into the lane and attempted a layup.
Unfortunately for Davis, Marshall wasn’t too far away. He swatted the guard’s feeble shot attempt, and grabbed the rebound that fell at this feet. To add insult to injury, Davis slid a couple of feet out of bounds and lay there embarrassed.

Angel Reese registered 19 points and nine rebounds as No. 7 LSU pummeled No. 9 Virginia Tech, 82-64, on Thursday in her first game back after a four-game absence from the team.
Although things appeared to be business as usual on the court for the Tigers star in a rematch of last season’s Final Four matchup, Reese felt like she needed a “reset” to take care of her mental health. During the absence, the star forward said she leaned on Basketball Hall of Famer and LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal for advice.
“I talked to Shaq every day,” Reese said after Thursday’s game, per NOLA.
Christmas came early for the Miami Dolphins this year, and it’s Tyreek Hill playing Santa Claus.
The All-Pro wide receiver surprised his teammates with brand new Segway electric scooters this weekend — all decked out in Christmas lights and aqua (not teal) bows.
The Dolphins shared video of players entering the facility to find their gifts lined up. The grateful athletes whooped, hollered, hugged Tyreek and began parading their scooters through the building.

There’s widespread agreement around Major League Baseball that the San Diego Padres have no choice but to trade superstar outfielder Juan Soto.
San Diego is facing significant budgetary issues after needing to take out a substantial loan to make payroll expenses late in the 2023 season. Heading into 2024, the Padres extensive, and expensive, financial commitments have made lowering their obligations essentially a necessity. And given the contract situations of Fernando Tatis Jr., Xander Bogaerts, Manny Machado, Jake Cronenworth and Yu Darvish, Soto is the obvious trade candidate.
Former UFC star Paige VanZant doesn’t think the love story between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift is real.
In Wednesday’s episode of her Page and Austin podcast, the 29-year-old said the Kelce-Swift pairing is nothing more than a “publicity stunt.”
“I believe it’s 100 percent fake,” VanZant said. “It is publicity. It is—one, it’s huge for the NFL because yes, the NFL is big. Taylor Swift is huge, and now she’s getting an entirely different demographic to come watch the NFL. Think of the wives that are buying Travis Kelce jerseys now.
T’Vondre Sweat is one of Texas’s best defensive players, with 40 tackles and eight tackles for loss this season. However, during Saturday’s Big 12 championship game against Oklahoma State, Sweat made his presence felt on the offensive side of the ball.
The Longhorns were already leading 14–7 in the first quarter when coach Steve Sarkisian dialed up a play with Sweat in the game on offense as a fullback. Quarterback Quinn Ewers faked the handoff and then found Sweat wide open in the back of the end zone for a 2-yard touchdown pass.
The over/under for the mighty Iowa Hawkeyes in tonight’s Big Ten title game against Michigan is set at 6.5.
A golf simulation venue in Cedar Rapids better hope the Iowa offense gets at least half that — and quickly. If not, there’s about to be chaos in the streets.

Iowa golf venue raises the stakes for Hawkeyes-Michigan game
My God. Talk about ballsy.
There’s been exactly one half of action in the Big 12 Championship Game, and Texas has already scored a big-man touchdown..
The Texas Longhorns were deep in Oklahoma State territory, looking to go up by two touchdowns. In most cases, teams look for their best offensive players to punch it in. For Texas, that’s usually wide receivers Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell, or running back Jonathan Brooks. Given the immense stakes of this game for Texas, you would think they’d rely on proven offensive weapons to get the job done.
But Texas called someone else’s number.
No one loves Patrick Beverley more than this guy.
Patrick Beverley is an icon to a certain type of NBA fan. Beverley spent the first few years of his career playing overseas. with stops in Ukraine, Russia, and Greece. The Houston Rockets signed him in 2012, and Pat Bev became known as a bulldog defender at the point of attack who could also knock down a three-point shot. He was never the biggest or most athletic guard, but his toughness and determination has helped him outlast many of his more talented peers.
