The Toronto Raptors will likely be going to the 2026 NBA Playoffs. After three straight years of missing the postseason, this qualifies as a feel-good campaign for the franchise. Some good things have happened for the Raptors this year: Scottie Barnes has taken a big leap in his scoring efficiency, Brandon Ingram earned an All-Star nod in his first year with the team, and the defense has jumped from No. 17 last year to No. 6 this season.
The Raptors also feel like a flawed team that beats up on bottom-feeders and loses to anyone good.
The greatest UCL trebles vs Premier League giants as Valverde joins elite list
Federico Valverde stole the show with a hat-trick as Real Madrid beat Manchester City in the Champions League this week.
Valverde’s treble was the first hat-trick of his career and only the 11th time a footballer has scored aChampions League hat-trick against a Premier League team.
Manchester City have been on the wrong end of moreChampions League hat-tricks than any other English side, with Valverde the fifth footballer to claim a match ball against the Citizens in the competition.
When the San Francisco 49ers needed a wide receiver early in the 2025 season, they called Kendrick Bourne after Week 1, fresh off his release from the New England Patriots, and signed him for the remainder of the year.
Now, Bourne is departing again, as he agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals during the legal-tampering period before free agency.
On Wednesday, Bourne took to social media to address 49ers fans directly.

Bourne, 30, originally joined the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington in 2017.
LAKELAND, FL – Right-handed reliever Will Vest has left the Detroit Tigers in spring training, joining Team USA for the single-elimination bracket stage of the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
Team USA advanced out of pool play.
Reaching the quarterfinals activated Vest from the reserve list.
Vest will be available for Team USA on Friday, March 13, against Team Canada at Daikin Park in Houston – where he was born and grew up nearby. From 2023-25, the 30-year-old posted a 2.93 ERA over 187⅓ innings for the Tigers, including 23 saves in 2025.
