Johnson left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf and while he hasn’t had the best year, he feels his game would help the American Ryder Cup team win.
Dustin Johnson went 5-0-0 at the 2021 Whistling Straits Ryder Cup, where the Americans demolished the Europeans 19-9. He was the first American since Larry Nelson in 1979 to achieve that record.
Fast forward to the 2023 Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Italy, and Johnson wasn’t one of the six captain’s picks. He didn’t have the points to qualify either.

In the midst of Colorado’s resurgence under first-year coach Deion Sanders, Urban Meyer offered his rousing support this week commending Sanders’s success in Boulder thus far.
The No. 18 Buffaloes (2–0), led by star quarterback and Sanders’ son Shedeur, enter Week 3 as one of college sports’s biggest stories following big wins over TCU and Nebraska to start the year. And, with the team already taking the country by storm, Meyer admitted CU’s turnaround after over a decade of ineptitude has been unlike anything he’s ever seen.

In his NFL debut, Panthers quarterback Bryce Young threw his first touchdown to veteran tight end Hayden Hurst. However, Hurst was caught up in the moment and threw the ball into the stands instead of giving it to Young to keep.
Young still got the ball back, though, thanks to his backup, Andy Dalton. The veteran quarterback immediately went to retrieve the ball so the rookie could have it for himself.
“Shoutout to Andy, he did a great job, he tracked it down, he was on it,” Young said. “He told me he went and got it right away. Super grateful for that.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith is not a football expert. It’s no secret that he’s an NBA guy and he talks about football on First Take because he has to. He’s made some terrible errors talking about the NFL in the past, but he’s gotten a little better in that department.
But when it comes to college football, Smith just doesn’t have the knowledge to keep up. That was on display Monday when Smith brutally made multiple mistakes trying to talk about Alabama’s loss to Texas, specifically about quarterback Jalen Milroe.
Smith prefers to talk about the NBA.

The Dallas defender was not pleased with the video, and he even went as far to hint that he thinks his brother should leave the Bills.
“Tuh! They turn on you so quick,” Diggs wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Gotta get bro somewhere safe.”

One of the best features of modern Madden is how quickly real world performance can translate to the virtual game.
The Madden Ratings Hotline has also allowed fans to have input into which players deserve to see a ratings bump based on the start of their season. And few players had a better start than Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill led the Dolphins to an impressive 36-34 road win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Tagovailoa threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Hill.

Dustin Johnson has been a regular on the U.S. Ryder Cup team having played in five of the last six, but this year the 39-year-old will be watching the biennial event from home. He believes that’s the reality due to the fact that he doesn’t play on the PGA Tour anymore.
Johnson was beyond dominant in the 2021 Ryder Cup as he became the first American to go 5-0 in the event. Most years, that record along with his strong résume would speak for itself, but this year’s Ryder Cup is like nothing we’ve ever seen before given the fact that LIV Golf is a thing that does, in fact, exist.

The Rams–49ers matchup on Sunday will be a historic one as soon as the ball is snapped. It will be the first time in NFL history that a quarterback taken with the first pick of the NFL draft will face off against a quarterback taken with the last pick of the NFL draft, according to the NFL’s research department.
Rams signal-caller Matthew Stafford was drafted No. 1 by the Lions in 2009 out of Georgia. Meanwhile, San Francisco’s Brock Purdy was selected with the No. 262 pick in the 2022 draft from Iowa State.
