NFL stands for “National Football League.” But, for many fans, that acronym means “No Fun League.” NFL referees are told to punish players for excessive celebrations and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill got a taunting penalty for the second consecutive week.
Last week, in a game against the New York Giants, Hill scored a touchdown. Following the score, he attempted to give the football to his mother. That led to a comedic situation where an overeager Dolphins fan tried to intercept that gift to Hill’s mother.
The scene was funny and pretty harmless.

Our forefathers did not fight the Revolutionary War just so the British can turn around and take our Super Bowl.
Over the past several years, the NFL has made a concerted effort to expand its product into the international market. Recently, we’ve seen games in Mexico and Germany, but the league’s most desired target, obviously, is the U.K.

That’s all fine and good. I get that the league is trying to make money from as many fans as possible.

Tyreek Hill keeps finding ways to one up his celebrations
Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill has been drawing a lot of the ire of NFL celebration officers for his celebrations. Last week, the superstar wideout was fined over $10K for throwing up the deuces as he ran away from a Giants defender.
This week, he one upped his shenanigans in the best way possible. After torching the Panthers secondary for a 41-yard touchdown, Hill ran immediately to someone holding a phone, and did a backflip with the phone in his hand, and taking a selfie after. Epic and hilarious in every way possible.

Tyreek Hill continues to innovate on the football field.
After the Dolphins fell into a quick 14-0 deficit against the Panthers on Sunday, Hill helped take back control of the game of Miami with another impressive touchdown.
Miami had already pushed the score to 14-14 when Hill broke free on a deep route and sped into the end zone untouched to take a 21-14 lead.
To celebrate the score, Hill grabbed the phone of someone that was standing on the field just outside the end zone and did a backflip while taking a selfie.

TYREEK HILL. HUGE TOUCHDOWN.

“Incredibly disappointing,” USC coach Lincoln Riley said. “Just did not play good enough to win the game.”

It appears that Aaron Rodgers is progressing well in recovering from his torn Achilles injury that he suffered in the Jets‘ season opener on Sept. 11 against the Bills.
The Jets’ account posted a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday showing the four-time MVP being chauffeured around in a golf cart at MetLife Stadium ahead of the team’s game against the Eagles. Rodgers had his left leg slightly bent before getting off the cart and was then seen walking with a strong stride without his crutches, despite having a small limp.

The Cleveland Browns face a massive test on Sunday squaring off against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. Plus, starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is out. The team was forced to start PJ Walker, who was just called up from the practice squad.
On a third-down play, Walker appeared to pick up a first down with his legs. NFL referees spotted the ball right where the first-down marker seemed to be located.
They brought out the chains to measure, and sure enough, Walker appeared to gain the yardage necessary for a first down.
