Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a calf strain on the field during training camp practice Thursday, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini.
Burrow was carted off the field following the injury, which occurred late in the Cincinnati practice.
Burrow was scrambling to the near side of the field when he suddenly pulled up, appearing to suffer a non-contact injury. After members of Cincinnati’s training staff tended to him, Burrow limped over to the cart before he was removed from the field.

Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey will undergo knee surgery after suffering an injury during Thursday’s training camp, which will require him to miss the beginning of the 2023 season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
Schefter added that Ramsey’s ACL is intact. It’s unclear at this time how long Ramsey is expected to be out for.

Another LPGA major is here and Rose Zhang is staying hot on the course as the rookie eyes another win.
Rose Zhang had to fight hard in her first round at the Amundi Evian Championship at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. It is the fourth of five majors during the 2023 season.
Heading into the tournament, her group was the one to watch. She is playing alongside world class players Minjee Lee and Nelly Korda.

After Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was carted off during training camp on Thursday with an apparent calf injury, fans began wondering what this could mean for the starting quarterback.
His teammate, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, gave some positive insight to Burrow’s condition, though. According to Chase, he thinks Burrow should be O.K.
“We always give each other that nod,” Chase said, via The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr. “He gave me a nod he’s all right. He’s a strong dude.”
Chase added that even though he hadn’t seen Burrow yet, he isn’t starting to worry yet.
