San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy seems interested in cutting his teeth in the farming game.
The 49ers are currently 5-3 and second in the NFC West. The team still has everything it wants to accomplish in front of them. Add in the fact the team traded for Chase Young, and there’s plenty to be optimistic about coming off a three game skid.
The team is currently on its bye week, and won’t return until November 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It’s time for a little rest and relaxation.
Recharging is important, and for Brock Purdy, hitting the farm was on the schedule this week.

Dr. B Eleanor Anstey would like people to say some prayers for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Anstey passed away October 25th at the age of 97, and spent her life cheering for the Hawkeyes. OutKick readers know, Ferentz’s team has fallen on hard times when it comes to scoring points.
Brian Ferentz is out as OC once the season is over, and the team is averaging just 19.5 points a game, and a horrible 14.2 points per game against Big Ten opponents.
Anstey would like to use the power of prayer to help turn things around for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa has a downright terrible offense.
Victor Wembanyama scored 38 points and carried the Spurs down the stretch, scoring 10 in a decisive 12-0 run as San Antonio outlasted the Suns 132-121.
Linebacker Kwon Alexander thwarts the Titans’ late-game heroics as he picks off Levis in the final seconds.
Sixers star Joel Embiid disagreed with James Harden’s assessment that he was “on a leash” in Philadelphia, saying that the Sixers gave Harden the ball “every single possession” and let him “do his thing.
Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks was carted off in the final minutes against Pittsburgh on Thursday night with an injury.
76ers center Joel Embiid addressed comments made by former teammate James Harden on Thursday, in which he said that Philadelphia had him “on a leash” and used him as a “system player.”
“I think he did a lot of great things for us,” Embiid said, speaking to reporters after the Sixers’ win over the Raptors, via Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sixers.
“But in my opinion, I just felt like we allowed him to just be himself. And we gave him the ball every single possession, because he’s really good. He’s an amazing player,” Embiid continued.
Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama was putting on a show on Thursday night before San Antonio’s game against the Suns even tipped off. And he continued putting on a show until the final buzzer.
The 19-year-old pulled out some tricks during San Antonio’s pregame warmups ahead of their second consecutive matchup with Phoenix, and he stunned the crowd by throwing down an incredible between-the-legs dunk.
Despite his 7’4” frame, Wembanyama made the dunk look easy as he tucked the ball under his legs before flushing it down with authority at the rim.
The difficulty level increased for Will Levis’s second career NFL start.
The Titans’ rookie quarterback had to deal with edge rushers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith in Pittsburgh four days after his sensational debut against the Falcons.
Levis had two weeks to prepare for a home game against the Falcons, who didn’t know what to expect from the 2023 second-round pick. Also, Atlanta doesn’t boast the type of pass rushers that the Steelers possess.
Levis saw frequent pressure in the 20–16 loss against the Steelers, but he made many impressive plays during Thursday Night Football.
