I’m still coming to terms with the news that AI is replacing writers, and now quarterbacks are on the chopping block. Is no one’s job safe from the threat of robots and artificial intelligence?
Even worse, Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is helping out in expediting the robotic revolution (Robolution?).
Harrison has signed a deal to partner with sports robotics company Monarc. They produce the world’s first robotic quarterback, which is known as Seeker.

Super excited to officially be a part of the Monarc family lets get to work @MonarcSport pic.twitter.

The NFL Draft is hurtling towards a QB feeding frenzy.
There’s been a lingering perception for a while that this is a good year to need a quarterback. At this point in the process there are four very solid prospects, ranging a wide gamut of skills and abilities from true pocket field generals to dual-threat phenoms. But as the process continues it’s now looking very dicey for any team wanting a QB after the No. 5 pick.

Jordan Spieth is a wizard. While every PGA Tour player is the best of the best, Spieth’s ability to hit golf shots that simply do not make sense is unmatched. His magic was on full display during Thursday’s opening round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
On his third hole of the day, the Par 5 12th, Spieth found a fairway bunker with his tee shot. While he could have elected to take an iron and lay up in the fairway to a nice number and try to make birdie that way, the three-time major winner doesn’t exactly operate that way.

It’s been a long offseason for Michigan fans with rumors swirling of coach Jim Harbaugh possibly returning to the NFL. Now that all of the NFL coaching jobs are filled, they can rest easy knowing their coach is returning—for now.

This not only applies to himself, but to former Wolverines defensive coordinator Jesse Minter.

1. I understand that some of you reading this don’t want to hear about the problems of rich athletes. Me? I’m fascinated to hear about shoddy work conditions no matter how much the people involved are making.
And, yes, an NFL team having a crappy workout room isn’t as problematic as someone making $15 an hour who is struggling to pay for health insurance. But in the world of sports, this is an eye-opening look at what players think about their own team.
