Verstappen has avoided a penalty for impeding Kevin Magnussen during qualifying
We mentioned in the build-up to qualifying for the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix that traffic might be an issue throughout the weekend.
But it will not shake up the starting order for the Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen was summoned to speak with stewards regarding a potential impeding penalty, but the stewards have decided not to take any action:

Layoffs at ESPN shook the sports media world on Friday as a number of high-profile, on-air personalities were let go by the network in a move to cut costs. After weeks of speculation and just a handful of reported departures, a plethora of cuts were revealed ahead of the holiday weekend, headlined by some of the company’s biggest names.
ESPN acknowledged the layoffs in a statement but declined to identify those that would be affected. Based on reports or announcements from the individuals themselves, here are those that have been laid off on Friday.

Blake Hiligh and Zachary Pilarcek, two former Buffalo football players, are facing an animal cruelty charge after a social media video appeared to show them abusing a dog, the Erie County District Attorney’s office announced Thursday.
Hiligh, 19, and Pilarcek, 20, apparently posted a video on June 13 where they beat a four-year-old male miniature poodle named Kobe using a leather belt. The next day, the SPCA Serving Erie County seized the dog and transferred it to a veterinary clinic, where it was treated for bruises and abrasions.

Suzy Kolber’s impressive run at ESPN sadly came to an end Friday when she announced on Twitter that she had been a part of the latest round of layoffs that are taking place at the sports network. 
Kolber spent 27 years at ESPN and was well-known for all of the NFL coverage she handled during those years, including most recently being the host of Monday Night Countdown. 
A number of well-known names have been let go by ESPN on Friday, including lead NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy, which was stunning news for basketball fans.

Stamp Fairtex is seeking to become ONE Championship’s first three-sport world champion.
Fairtex is fighting Seo Hee Ham at ONE Fight Night 14 this September in a bout for the interim atomweight world title. This marks her second attempt at the history-making endeavor. The first was thwarted by Angela Lee, but the bout against Ham now stands out as a golden second opportunity.
“Maybe I’m crazy to fight in all three sports,” says Fairtex, who already won ONE world titles in atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai. “That is my dream. And I won’t stop until I get it.

ESPN has laid off Suzy Kolber.
Kolber made the announcement on her Twitter page Friday.

Today I join the many hard-working colleagues who have been laid off.
Heartbreaking-but 27 years at ESPN was a good run.

Earlier in the day, ESPN also laid off Max Kellerman, Keyshawn Johnson, Jeff Van Gundy, and Jalen Rose.
