Former Florida football star and ex-NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is set to become the co-owner of an upstart professional hockey team.
Tebow, alongside David Hodges, CEO of Hodges Management Group, will own an expansion team in the ECHL after the league’s board of governors approved their application.
The team will be located in Lake Tahoe, though a name, color scheme and logo have yet to be revealed. The franchise plans to work with fans and the community in order to collectively come up with an identity for the team.

On April 28, Bert Eugene Neff Jr. walked into the BetMGM Sportsbook at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati in possession of a large amount of cash, looking to make a huge score. His proposed wager quickly aroused concern and suspicion among the staff.
Three people familiar with the investigation told Sports Illustrated that Neff wanted to bet more than $100,000 on a college baseball game that night: Alabama at No. 1 LSU. The game had gotten virtually no gambling traffic, and Neff’s desired bets on the Tigers far exceeded the sportsbook’s established house limit on college baseball.
He’s one of the smallest Derby participants ever.

The 25th-seeded Keys used both hands to advance to the quarters
After weather caused havoc during the first week of the 2023 WImbledon Championships, conditions have settled and players are advancing to the quarterfinals.
Among those advancing is Madison Keys. The 25th-seeded advanced to the quarterfinals on Monday, defeating Mirra Andreeva 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2. This marks the second time that Keys has advanced to the quarters at Wimbledon, and the deepest she has advanced at the tournament since reaching the quarters back in 2015.

LIV Golf executives have been working behind the scenes to amend its schedule so the league’s final tournament could be played in Miami.
The Blue Monster Course at Trump National Doral in Miami will now host the final event on the LIV Golf calendar, the season-ending Team Championship.
