The Reds were shut out by the Brewers on Saturday, marking their third consecutive loss against their NL Central rivals. 
The offense has been practically non-existent for Cincinnati during the losing streak. In fact, the Reds’ lineup has been historically bad during its last three games, all of which have been shutout losses.
According to ESPN Stats and Info, Cincinnati is the first MLB team in at least 130 years to record less than eight hits with zero runs across a three-game span.
The Reds were held to just one hit during Saturday’s 3–0 loss against Milwaukee.

Mets third baseman Brett Baty made an egregious error during the top of the ninth inning in a one-run game against the Dodgers on Saturday.
With one out and runners on second and third base, Max Muncy hit a shallow pop fly that didn’t even leave the infield. Despite its lack of distance, the fly ball managed to confuse Baty, who struggled to track it over at the hot corner.
Baty ended up losing the ball, diving to the ground as he tried to recover in time to catch it. After the ball hit the ground, it careened back up and smacked the 23-year-old right in the face.

The 2023 WNBA All-Star Game treated fans to a record-setting performance by Jewell Lloyd as Team Stewart beat Team Wilson 143–127 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.
Seattle Storm star Jewell Loyd won All-Star Game MVP after pouring in 31 points—the most in WNBA All-Star Game history. The two-time WNBA champion hit 10-of-21 from beyond the arc, while dishing out six assists and grabbing four rebounds. The scoring outburst broke the previous record of 30 points held by both Maya Moore and Kelsey Plum.

Los Angeles Angles superstar Shohei Ohtani has a habit of blowing people’s minds, and one of those people is Houston Astros skipper Dusty Baker.
Associated Press reported Greg Beacham caught up with Baker and asked him about Ohtani, a player unlike any he has seen in his decades-long career in Major League Baseball.
