There’s no easy way to fix NFL running back contracts
The running back contract landscape has finally hit a breaking point.
With the NFL’s deadline for reaching a long-term contract with players on the franchise tag passing without deals for standouts Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley and Tony Pollard, many RBs have spoken out against the unfair deterioration of value at the position.

The RBs deserve more. Can’t believe it’s even a topic.

Colorado football coach Deion Sanders has faced criticism from fellow coaches and even media members ever since he took over the Buffaloes’ vacancy.
Sanders has managed to sound out the haters, however loud they may be, at least up until Tuesday when the 55-year-old issued a stringent response to some of his recent critiques.
“Please read this slowly. I’ve Never responded to any of these Great coaches that choose to target me or our program here @CUBuffsFootball. I’m Great at walking & talking the talk & if it were truly me I would’ve referenced a LAMBORGHINI.

As the Trail Blazers remain patient while negotiating Damian Lillard trades, the point guard has maintained his preference to play for the Heat above all else. In a potential trade with the Heat, the main piece of return would likely be guard Tyler Herro, but while some fans believe that’s not enough, others think it’s the best Portland can do.

The Cleveland Browns unveiled new alternate white helmets on Tuesday, and NFL fans everywhere loved the new look.
The new white-helmet is an attempt to pay homage to the uniforms the team wore in its first six years of existence from 1946–51. The clean new look features an all-white helmet with a brown and orange stripe down the middle. The team is expected to wear the helmets in three games this season as part of an “all-white series” of games: Week 2 against the Steelers on Monday Night Football, Week 6 against the 49ers and Week 17 in a Thursday night game against the Jets.

Heat super fan and famed sports talk show host Dan Le Batard did not hold back when discussing the state of Damian Lillard trade talks as it relates to his hometown team and the Trail Blazers.
In fact, Le Batard was so fired up that he took some pointed shots at the lead reporter at his old employer ESPN. That’s right, Le Batard had plenty to say about the reporting of ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski throughout the trade talks involving Lillard.
“Thank you for bringing up Woj,” Le Batard said Monday on The Dan Le Batard Show.

NASHVILLE — Kirby Smart walked onstage here at SEC Media Days like a rockstar would at any of his sold-out shows: full of energy. The Georgia head coach went on a 14-minute filibuster that mimicked Eli Drinkwitz, proclaiming that his program does not have a problem with authority.
Now, whether you choose to believe Smart or not is completely up to you, but their are two different situations at play here.
