Kansas City Royals lefty Amir Garrett had to be taken out of Monday’s game against the Chicago White Sox early, but not before he unloaded the contents of his stomach all over the field.
Garrett was brought into the game in the seventh inning with the Royals leading 12-4. He faced just one batter — Elvis Andrus — and struck him out looking. The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that they will no longer extend alcohol sales after the 7th inning.
And no, it’s not because they are serving Bud Light and no one’s buying it.
Instead, they say it’s just not worth it.
“We’ve got two homestands under our belts and there have not been any serious issues with general behavior related to the extended sales,” a Brewers spokesman told MLB.com. “But what we’ve found is that the amount of time we’ve extended it by averages it out to 15 minutes extra.

LSU women’s basketball is the overwhelming favorite to repeat as national champions during the 2023/24 season. Kim Mulkey and the Tigers lost three starters to graduation, but rebuilt and reloaded in a big way.
Not only did LSU land the No. 1 recruiting class in 2023, it added the two most sought-after transfers through the portal. It feels not unlike the college version of the Golden State Warriors’ super team, when Kevin Durant joined Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
