Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh won’t coach the Wolverines in Saturday’s Big Ten game at Penn State on Saturday afternoon.
Harbaugh had been suspended Friday for the remainder of the regular season by conference commissioner Tony Petitti, but the school made a legal filing later in the day in hopes of receiving a temporary restraining order. That order will not come down Saturday, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, meaning Harbaugh cannot be present at Beaver Stadium when the No. 3 Wolverines (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) face the No. 10 Nittany Lions (8-1, 5-1) at noon ET.

Michigan finds itself at the center of the college football world in regard to an alleged scheme to illicitly scout opponents in person in hopes of decoding their play-calling signals.
Although the NCAA remains in the midst of its investigation of the scandal, the Big Ten Conference stepped in Friday and suspended coach Jim Harbaugh for the rest of the regular season. The school is pursuing a temporary restraining order to pause that penalty, with the belief that the conference has circumvented due process.

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins ripped officials in a lengthy postgame rant for ejecting Memphis center Jaren Jackson Jr. and claiming the crew missed several calls in the team’s 127–121 loss to the Jazz on Friday night.

The next couple of months could change the way the UFC operates forever.
The popular mixed martial arts conglomerate is about to go to trial stemming from a 2014 class-action lawsuit by hundreds of fighters that accuses the UFC of creating a monopoly within the industry that ended up paying fighters “a fraction of what they would earn in a competitive marketplace.”
The lawsuit, which is moving forward after the UFC lost its bid to have it revoked by a judge earlier this week, could cost the organization over a billion dollars. The trial will begin in April of 2024.
