Sparks forward Dearica Hamby spoke for the first time Tuesday since her former coach Becky Hammon was suspended earlier that day following a WNBA investigation that began after Hamby alleged misconduct while a part of the Aces organization. The league issued Hammon a two-game suspension, and Las Vegas was stripped of its 2025 first-round draft pick. 
“I don’t really have much to say about it,” Hamby said. “I kind of want to move forward and focus on where I am today. I’m healthy, I’m happy, my son is healthy and I’m gonna be playing basketball this season.

The Victor Wembanyama Sweepstakes 2023 NBA Draft Lottery has come and gone, and the top of the NBA Draft order is set.

Miami’s bench duo has been sensational through two rounds of the playoffs.
Amid Jimmy Butler’s 56-point, Game 4 detonation of the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round were critical crunch-time contributions from supporting cast members Caleb Martin and Kyle Lowry. Late in the fourth quarter, Martin sprinted from the left corner to the right corner and directed an offensive rebound toward Butler before dotting a jumper over Giannis Antetokounmpo’s outstretched arm. A minute later, he buried a three-ball to give Miami the lead.

There has never been a better time to be among the world’s 50 highest-paid athletes. Altogether, the 50 athletes on Forbes’ annual list raked in more dough than they ever have, an estimated $3.44 billion.

The Spurs have a rich history of No. 1 picks and French phenom Victor Wembanyama is a massive favorite to follow in the footsteps of Tim Duncan and David Robinson at the NBA draft next month.
San Antonio won Tuesday’s lottery with a 14% shot at the top pick, which was tied with two other teams for the best odds. The franchise has picked first twice before: Robinson was selected in 1987 and Duncan was the choice in 1997 — both players are Hall of Famers.

Jake Fromm and Stetson Bennett arrived at Georgia in the same year. One has a degree, one does not appear to have a degree.
Fromm, a former four-star recruit in the Class of 2017, committed to play for the Bulldogs in March of 2016 after flipping his commitment from Alabama. Upon arrival in Athens, he entered his true freshman year as the backup to Jacob Eason.
Eason ended up getting hurt and Fromm tagged in. Georgia reached the SEC Championship, and Fromm was named SEC newcomer of the year.
Fromm went on to throw for 7,236 yards and 78 touchdowns while completing 63.

Actual players will be featured in EA Sports’ upcoming college football game.
“NCAA Football” from EA Sports was one of the most popular video games in the country for years, but came to an abrupt end after “NCAA Football 14” dropped summer 2013. The game never featured actual names, but likeness issues brought on legal battles that ended the series.
EA Sports shocked and stunned college football fans when it announced the game would return. The NIL era changed everything, and the untitled series will hit shelves next summer.
