The Chicago Bears might just be giving up on Chase Claypool.
The wide receiver will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. And since Claypool hasn’t been on the injury report this week, we can only assume this is a behavioral or performance-based decision.
Earlier this week, Claypool criticized the coaching staff — telling reporters the Bears were not putting him in the best position to succeed. So now, it looks like that position will be on the sidelines.

Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool won’t be activated Sunday against the Broncos amid drama within the locker room, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The reported decision comes after he openly criticized the team for misusing him. 
While talking to reporters Friday, Claypool was asked if Chicago was using him correctly to show “the best that he can do,” and he responded “no.” He joined quarterback Justin Fields as the latest Bears play to openly criticize the team when talking to media members as the squad continues to look for its first win of the season.

Trent Dilfer went full hardo mode during UAB’s 35-23 loss to Tulane.
Dilfer is in his first year with the Blazers, and things are off to a rough start for his college coaching career. UAB fell to 1-3 Saturday and he flipped out in absolutely hilarious fashion.
UAB was flagged for an illegal substitution in the fourth quarter, and Dilfer’s reaction was a bit over-the-top. He looked ready to start swinging on his staff as he did he best Nick Saban impression.

Northwestern QB Brendan Sullivan is the proud owner of what might be the worst interception of the season.
The Wildcats lost to Penn State 41-13 Saturday, and surprisingly managed to keep the game close until late in the third quarter.
Well, by the time the game was over, Sullivan was in the game after starter Ben Bryant went down with an injury.

Saban and the Crimson Tide have faced serious criticism through the early part of the season after losing to Texas and struggling against USF.
