All 12 European Ryder Cuppers will play at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, one of the biggest tournaments on the DP World Tour.
Successful teams often have excellent chemistry, outstanding camaraderie, and a strong will to win that unites.
But those attributes are never formed overnight; they take time to mature and materialize.

You’ve never seen a baseball game end the way the one between the Algodoneros de Unión Laguna and Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos of the Mexican League did on Tuesday night.
It was the sixth game of the best-of-seven Zona Norte Championship Series (the equivalent of MLB’s LCS), with Laguna ahead three games to two. A dramatic bottom of the ninth inning saw former Brewers first-round pick Henry Gatewood hit a home run to cut Laguna’s lead to 3–2. With two outs, Cade Gotta hit a triple to put the tying run on third for Laredo with two outs.
That’s when things got wild.
On Thursday, The Pat McAfee Show will make its debut on the ESPN family of networks, officially making the move from FanDuel. McAfee’s daily show will air from noon through 2:00 p.m. ET, with the third hour airing only on YouTube and ESPN+.
However, the change in networks will also require limitations in the way McAfee and his crew will be aired. According to Isabella Simonetti of The Wall Street Journal, ESPN is airing The Pat McAfee Show on a delay, which will allow the network to mute every time someone on the show curses.
Embattled umpire Ángel Hernández had another brutal night behind the plate Wednesday, producing some hilarious reactions from broadcasters in the process.
Hernández had home plate responsibilities for the Marlins’ matchup with the Dodgers and, as usual, missed plenty of calls. According to Umpire Scorecard, less than 80% of the pitches he called strikes were actually in the zone, and Umpire Auditor counted 18 total missed calls on the night for the much-maligned Hernández.
It’s the Fall of 2015 and a Miami Dolphins executive is on the other end of this call explaining how Dan Campbell isn’t ready to be an NFL head coach but he’s going to be the team’s interim coach anyway because what Campbell has cannot be taught or learned.
“He is a natural-born leader and people follow him and want to succeed for him,” the executive said. “And we need that more than anything right now. He’s a year, probably two, and maybe three away from having all the nuances of coaching and the Xs and Os down.
SMU’s admission into the ACC won’t come cheap, but the people responsible for bankrolling the Mustangs have no worries about writing huge checks.
SMU will join the ACC starting next year along with Stanford and Cal, but won’t get a share of media revenue for the foreseeable future.
To make up the gap, David Miller, the chairman of the school’s board of trustees, and a small handful of other wealthy oil men and business executives have committed $200 million to make sure the Mustangs are competitive, despite not having a media payout, according to Yahoo Sports.
The AP Top 25 reshuffled after Week 1 and when all the votes were in, Colorado came in at No. 22.
The Buffaloes pulled off one of the week’s biggest upsets on the road against a top-25 TCU team. Now, all eyes are on the Deion Sanders-led squad that’s drawn plenty of attention from bettors heading into a home bout against Nebraska, so much so that the line has moved more than a full touchdown.
Oregon also moved up two spots, to No. 13, after thrashing Portland State on Saturday. The Ducks are listed as road favorites against Texas Tech, which is fresh off an upset loss to Wyoming.
One of the stranger rules in baseball is the one that allows a batter to attempt to reach base safely after a third strike. It’s always funny to watch a batter realize that the catcher dropped the pitch and turn quickly to sprint to first, but rarely does the batter actually reach base on a strikeout. Guardians prospect Tyresse Turner did something on Wednesday that’s even more rare.
In the third inning of the Lake County Captains’ game against the Lansing Lugnuts, Turner swung and missed at a pitch in the dirt.

The junior is one of the best passers in the country
Caleb Williams. Drake Maye. Michael Penix. Jordan Travis. Shedeur Sanders. Bo Nix.
When you ask most college football fans or objective viewers who the best QB in the country is, they’ll probably name one of those guys. The big name players at the Power 5 schools who get the ABC primetime games and the big NFL scouts coming to the games get most of the attention.
However, one of the best QBs in the country isn’t among those listed, and that’s Tulane QB Michael Pratt.
Nick Saban is infamous for shutting down reporters and questions in press conferences and he was back to his old ways following Alabama’s season-opening win over Middle Tennessee last Saturday.
However, the Crimson Tide coach appears to be turning over a new leaf as he took the time to re-answer a query about quarterback Jalen Milroe during his latest media session.
Speaking Wednesday to Austin Hannon of BamaCentral, who asked about quarterback Milroe’s confidence level after Alabama’s 56–7 rout, Saban offered what sounded like an apology for his blunt response.
