That’s one way to break up a pass.
T.J. Watt might be the most dominant defensive player in football right now. The Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end continued his sensational 2023 campaign on Sunday by notching two sacks and a recovered fumble against the Baltimore Ravens.
The Steelers beat the Ravens, 17-10, to move into first place in the AFC North through the first five weeks of the season. The story of the game was Baltimore wide receivers letting down Lamar Jackson, but Pittsburgh’s defensive play was a big reason for that.

Some saw Sunday night’s matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers as a preview of the NFC Championship game. After the 49ers coasted to a 32-point win, nobody would sign up for that, especially not Dallas fans.
Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott wouldn’t exactly be thrilled to see San Francisco again either based on his postgame comments.
Prescott was bad on Sunday night. Not only did he throw for just 153 yards, he threw three interceptions for the first time since October 6, 2019, in a loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys were completely outmatched on Sunday night against the 49ers, failing to compete on both sides of the ball.
Dak Prescott had one of the worst games of his career in the 42-10 defeat. He completed just 14 passes and recorded his third-ever game with three interceptions.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Prescott shared an honest take on Dallas’s second loss of the season, indicating that he was humbled by the Niners’ defense.
“I didn’t see it coming,” said Prescott, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Sunday night was an evening to forget for Dak Prescott, who threw three interceptions during the Cowboys’ blowout loss to the 49ers.
While Dallas fans likely were watching the game frozen in a “surrender cobra” pose, haters of “America’s Team” were thoroughly enjoying the meltdown on the field.
Among those was former Eagles running back and longtime Cowboys rival, LeSean McCoy.

How many times do the Ravens need to keep failing their quarterback?
Stop me if you’ve heard this story before: The Ravens still don’t have a receiving corps worth a damn, and Lamar Jackson is suffering again. Baltimore fell to 3-2 on the season with an embarassing loss to the Steelers in a game they should have dominated on paper.
In the pantheon of teams that should have stepped up this year it’s the Ravens who might be the most disappointing.

Recapping the winners and losers from the Qatar Grand Prix
Lawrence Stroll has a Lance Stroll dilemma.
At the start of the 2023 Formula 1 season, Aston Martin was the surprise package. The AMR23 — jokingly referred to as the “third Red Bull” by Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner — was the car every team other than Red Bull was chasing. Fernando Alonso began the season with three-straight podium finishes, and teammate Lance Stroll gutted out a sixth-place finish in the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix despite returning from injury.

Dan Campbell’s locker room speeches are becoming appointment viewing.
The Lions absolutely mauled the Panthers 42-24 Sunday to improve to 4-1, and it’s clear this is the best team in Detroit in a very long time. Dan Campbell is owed a lot of credit for quickly turning the franchise around, and his passion is evident and clear.
One of the best parts about Campbell is the fact he wears his heart on his sleeve. That includes cutting it loose in the locker room after big wins. Just like every other win this season, he gave fans an awesome speech to watch.

It was an eventful fifth Sunday of NFL action, and we’ve got you covered in this week’s takeaways …
Sunday wasn’t the day the Patriots’ dynasty died, but it created an opportunity for anyone watching to conduct a pretty thorough autopsy. Here’s how bad it is: New England will go to Las Vegas next week having yielded 69 unanswered points, having been outscored in each of nine consecutive quarters and having been held out of the end zone in 10 consecutive quarters.
This, folks, is a bad football team.
