James Harden didn’t show up for the start of 76ers training camp at Colorado State amid his trade demand, but he’s expected to show up later on Tuesday, shortly after the event began on the same day, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Harden demanded a trade over the summer and has maintained that stance ever since. Things came to a head in August when the 10-time All Star called team president Daryl Morey a “liar,” adding, “I will never be part of an organization that he’s a part of.

Colorado football coach Deion Sanders told reporters on Tuesday that standout Travis Hunter will not play in the Buffaloes’ game on Saturday against Arizona State.
Hunter will miss his third consecutive game following an injury he suffered from a gruesome hit in the first quarter of Colorado’s matchup against Colorado State on Sept. 16. When the Buffaloes two-way star suffered the injury, it was expected that he would miss the next three games.
Colorado (3–2) sits less than two weeks away from its bye week.
It’s no secret that the NBA’s relationship with China runs deep.
Now, the league is facing what could be one of the most high-profile requests to curb some of its ties with the communist regime.
According to ESPN, a bipartisan committee has sent a letter to the league. In it, the Congressional-Executive Commission on China asked it to ban the use and sale of apparel made by forced labor.
Furthermore, they requested that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver “learn about the sad reality of genocide.”
The commission is comprised of members of Congress as well as White House appointees.
Jets legend Joe Namath is reconsidering his recent criticism of the team’s current quarterback.
Namath had described Zach Wilson’s performances against the Cowboys and Patriots as “awful” and “disgusting,” but he walked back those descriptions during a Monday appearance on “The Michael Kay Show.”
Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NFL draft, played arguably the best game of his career Sunday night in a narrow loss to the Chiefs. And Namath noticed.
Indeed, the Super Bowl III MVP described his previous comments as a product of frustration.
“I said it. I take it back.
The Commanders are in a bit of a slump heading into their first prime time appearance of the season. After Sunday’s overtime loss, Washington has now dropped back-to-back games following a 2–0 start.
A two-game skid is nothing to the Bears, though, who have dropped 14 in a row heading into Thursday Night Football and are a few weeks away from the one-year anniversary of their last win.
Given the dire straits in Chicago, the Commanders are 6.5-point home favorites over the Bears at FedEx Field on Thursday night. The total is set at 44.5 points, according to SI Sportsbook.
Chris Paul and the Warriors have spent years as rivals, Golden State opting to trade for the guard has become one of the biggest storylines ahead the upcoming season. Specifically, how Paul and Draymond Green mesh will be integral in deciding how far Golden State goes.
When speaking with the media for the first time this year, Green praised Paul for his prickly attitude, which he believes will be a benefit.
“If you’ve ever watched Chris compete, he’s kind of an a–hole,” Green said, via CBS Sports. “He may say the same thing about me, and that’s okay.
A Michigan hockey player, Johnny Druskinis, has been taken off the team ahead of the 2023–24 season after it was discovered that he, along with another student, allegedly covered the university’s Jewish Resource Center with swastikas and homophobic slurs.
Upon his removal from the team, a Michigan spokesperson did not tell the Detroit Free Press the exact reason why the sophomore defenseman is no longer with the team.
“Johnny Druskinis is no longer on the Michigan Hockey roster, following a violation of team rules,” the spokesperson said.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel is one of the most entertaining people in all of professional football, and it’s not just because of the high-powered offense he’s built in Miami. If you’ve ever heard him talk then you know just how funny this guy can be.
If you needed any more proof of that, then you need to see this NFL Films mic’d up video from last Sunday’s Dolphins-Bills showdown in Buffalo. McDaniel had just the best conversation with the head referee before the game, in which he joked about friendship and praised the refs for being so good at such a hard job.
Giants rookie center John Michael Schmitz and tight end Daniel Bellinger both sustained injuries as New York attempted an unsuccessful “tush push” in Monday night’s loss to the Seahawks, coach Brian Daboll said Tuesday.
