With the rookie passer sidelined for the year, what does that do for his development?
This is not the news that the Indianapolis Colts, and their fans, wanted to hear.

On Thursday, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce caught nine passes for 124 yards in Kansas City’s 19-8 win over the Broncos — his highest receiving total in a game since Dec. 2021 against the Chargers.

1. If you’ve been a reader of mine since the old “Hot Clicks” days, you know I have a soft spot for local news because oftentimes it’s a trainwreck.
And I don’t mean that in a negative way. I mean that more in a, “”you never know what you’re going to get with local news” way.
I say all this to set up what happened Tuesday on Phoenix’s Fox 10 when the local anchors threw it to a reporter in Philadelphia covering Game 2 of the Diamondbacks-Phillies NLCS. Here’s how the exchange went down:
Anchor No.

Dabo Swinney hasn’t made many headlines during the 2023 season that would cause fans to show emotion for his Clemson football team. But that all changed Monday night. At the core of his comments about the unrest on social media from a small percentage of fans lies the fear of being passed by.
Lets face it, we’re in a new era of college football, not the one that saw Clemson taking most of the headlines. What was once a program talked about on a weekly basis, we’re now bearing witness to the potential of getting lost in the fray.
