Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris heroically saved a drowning child over the weekend in Las Vegas.
The Rams DC was at Encore in Sin City with his family when a child started drowning in the pool. That’s when Morris leaped into action, got an AED (the device used to shock a heart) and helped save the three-year-old child’s life.

Chelsea Mitchell may have graduated high school a few years ago, but ‘the fastest girl in Connecticut’ sees what is happening to the integrity of women’s sports with transgender athletes being allowed to compete. For that reason, she’s suing the state.
A Connecticut policy allows transgender athletes to compete in girl’s sports, and as a result, Mitchell lost over 20 races to biological males throughout her high school career. Mitchell is teaming up with three other women who ran high school track in Connecticut to challenge the policy in court.

The Detroit Pistons made Monty Williams an offer he couldn’t refuse. The 51-year-old has agreed to a massive deal to become the new head coach of the Pistons on reportedly the biggest coaching contract in NBA history. Detroit is giving Williams a six-year, $78.5 million contract that could reach eight years, $100 million with incentives, per multiple reports.

Memphis was one of the programs the Big 12 did due diligence on before ultimately deciding to skip the Tigers in favor of UCF, Cincy, Houston and BYU.

Blue Jays reliever Anthony Bass recently came under fire after sharing an anti-LGBTQ post on his Instagram account. Bass had shared a video to his Instagram stories on Monday which endorsed boycotts of companies that supported LGBTQ causes.
Bass issued a public apology for his social media post, but some fans in Toronto still weren’t pleased.
On Wednesday, Bass made his first appearance on the mound since the social media post, and he was greeted with a chorus of boos from Blue Jays supporters.
