ESPN’s College GameDay is traveling to Salt Lake City on Saturday as No. 13 Utah plays host to No. 8 Oregon.
The GameDay crew—Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee—visited Columbus, Ohio, this past week ahead of the highly anticipated Ohio State–Penn State matchup.
Utah–Oregon is another showdown that has fans excited. Both teams have a 6–1 overall record and 3–1 Pac-12 record.
Saturday’s guess picker hasn’t been announced yet, but it will likely be someone with Utah ties.

Adolis García’s ninth inning grand slam served as quite the dagger to force a Game 7 in the Rangers–Astros ALCS.
The Rangers’ slugger teed off on a Ryne Stanek fastball to give Texas a 9–2 lead, helping to even the series ahead of Monday’s decisive Game 7. An angle of the blast shared by the Rangers’ social media team shows just how clutch the homer was. In the video, dejected Astros fans can be seen getting up and heading to the exits en masse while García is still rounding the bases, an epic silencer by the Rangers star who has been booed by Astros fans all series.

Bill Belichick has never been one to be sentimental, and that didn’t change Sunday even though he joined a pantheon of all-time great coaches. 
The Patriots’ 29–25 win over the Bills marked Belichick’s 300th career regular-season win as a head coach, joining Don Shula (328) and George Halas (318) as the only NFL coaches to ever reach that mark. But sticking to his brand, Belichick didn’t overstate the accomplishment and just wanted to talk about Sunday’s game. 
“It’s great,” Belichick told reporters after the game, per NESN.

It’s hard to argue with Nick Sirianni’s response to critics of the Eagles’ unstoppable QB sneak.
The “Tush Push” has quickly become the most controversial play in football. For the uninitiated, this is the Eagles’ go-to short yardage play which is a variant on the quarterback sneak, except two players stack behind Jalen Hurts and push his butt as he burrows through the pile. It’s become damn near automatic in the NFL, and nobody has found a way to stop it.

Another Division I conference realignment move is on tap, with Merrimack and Sacred Heart set to leave the Northeast Conference to join the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Merrimack has competed at the Division I level since 2019. The Warriors are coming off an NEC conference tournament title in men’s basketball but didn’t appear in the NCAA tournament because the school still is transitioning to full Division I status.

Dozens of Americans were killed in the horrifying terrorist attack in Israel carried out by Hamas, and 10 American citizens are still currently held by the terror group. Their status remains largely unknown. It’s a terrible and incredibly scary situation.
