Social media star Paige Spiranac ripped critics on Saturday afternoon by pointing out what she saw as a glaring double standard.
And she might have a point. A pretty solid one at that.
Spiranac tweeted a video from a Savannah Bananas baseball game during which two players took their shirts off and started dancing while wearing cowboy hats.
That’s a weird sentence to write about any other baseball team, but that’s par for the course with the Savannah Bananas.
However, Spiranac noted a distinct difference in reactions between that clip and anything she has ever posted to social media.

Fans in San Francisco were unhappy with a called strike against Giants’ left-handed slugger Joc Pederson on Saturday, and one individual from the stands made their thoughts abundantly clear.
During the weekend matinee against the rival Diamondbacks, Pederson saw the count evened up 2–2 on a questionable called strike from home plate umpire Mike Muchlinski. 
A Giants fan could be overheard on the broadcast’s hot mic vehemently opposing the decision from the umpire, and the NBC Sports broadcast team couldn’t help but agree with the angry fan.

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred is doubling down on making fun of Oakland A’s fans.
The A’s potential relocation to Las Vegas has been a contentious subject over the past few weeks.
Longtime Oakland fans have been frustrated with ownership, while Manfred and team executives have moved to secure public funding in Nevada.
In mid-June, A’s fans staged a “reverse boycott,” demanding owner John Fisher sell the team.

Rays shortstop Wander Franco missed the past two games after being benched by the organization for disciplinary reasons. Sidelined on Thursday and Friday fro the first two games of Tampa Bay’s four-game series against the Royals, Franco returned to action on Saturday.

For the London Series, Jeter was flanked by host Kevin Burkhardt as well ex-teammate Alex Rodriguez and former Red Sox star David “Big Papi” Ortiz.
During the post-game telecast, Ortiz took the historic New York–Boston rivalry to another level when he presented the Yankees’ five-time World Series champion with a Red Sox jersey embroidered with Jeter’s name and his famous No. 2 on the back.
