Nelson Pizarro was charged with shooting a cop during a drug bust in January 2022. He’s now a for-hire driver thanks to Ryan Grant after the Super Bowl-winning running back bailed him out of jail.
Pizarro spent 11 months locked up after being charged with shooting Detective Dominick Libretti in Staten Island. Grant, who won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers in 2011, paid his $500,000 bail.
According to the New York Post, Pizarro was put on house arrest as he awaits his trial but has been given permission to work as a livery driver.

The NBA announced its 2022–23 NBA All-Rookie teams on Monday, celebrating the brightest young stars in the league.
The first team is headlined by Rookie of the Year winner Paolo Banchero of the Magic, last year’s No. 1 draft pick. He was the only player who received a unanimous first-team selection. The 20-year-old forward averaged a team-high 20 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season.
Jazz center Walker Kessler, Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin, Kings forward Keegan Murray and Thunder forward Jalen Williams round out the All-Rookie first team.

ESPN baseball analyst Eduardo Perez made a controversial comment about Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. during Sunday Night Baseball this past weekend. During the broadcast, Perez questioned Tatis’s superstar status, comparing him to Dodgers star Mookie Betts and saying, “That’s what a superstar looks like, Nando.” 
On Monday, Perez issued an apology for his remark, indicating that although he stands by his comment, he didn’t intend for his words to be portrayed as they were.

Former Michigan State wide receiver Keon Coleman is one of the most sought-after players in the transfer portal. The 2021 four-star recruit was the Spartans’ leading receiver last season and caught 58 passes for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.

Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla has been under fire after Boston lost Game 4 vs. the 76ers Sunday 116–115, as his decision to not call a timeout during overtime proved costly. Instead of stopping the game to draw up a play with 19 seconds remaining, Mazzulla let the Celtics play despite having two timeouts remaining.
Initially, Mazzulla defended his decision after the game and argued that he’s trusted his team all year in those situations.

New Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud said in a pre-draft interview with Uninterrupted’s The Shop that he felt “disrespected” when Ohio State brought in five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers in the fall of 2021.
Ewers, who was ranked as the No. 1 player in the high school class of 2022, reclassified up one year to join the Buckeyes early in fall camp ahead of the ’21 season. That move didn’t sit well with Stroud, who already had sat behind Justin Fields in the 2020 season.
“I kind of felt disrespected. I didn’t like that,” Stroud admitted.
