Score one for common sense! In March, World Athletics declared that only biological women could compete in the women’s category at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Thus, no men racing against women. French sprinter Halba Diouf, a biological male and transgender female, is upset that he can’t race against women.
“I cannot understand this decision as transgender women have always been allowed to compete if their testosterone levels were below a certain threshold,” Diouf told Reuters.

At least one player won’t be staying with the team, however.
Star outfielder Mookie Betts has opted out of staying at the Pfister Hotel, due to its history of being haunted. 
Per Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, Betts has instead decided to rent an Airbnb property, which he will share with friends in order to avoid running the risk of any phantasmic occurrences.

The Oakland A’s have already altered their Las Vegas stadium plans, just a few weeks after the initial announcement.
In late April, the A’s organization announced they’d reached a binding agreement to purchase a parcel of land in Las Vegas to build a new stadium.

The agreement with Red Rock Casinos would require somewhere around $500 million in public funds to complete a 35,000 seat, retractable roof stadium.
The initial location was west of I-15, across from the strip, relatively close to the Las Vegas Raiders stadium.

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum shared on his Instagram page that seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady sent him a personalized framed jersey.
Tatum posted a picture of a framed No. 12 Patriots jersey, illustrating a special message of respect from the Hall of Fame-bound quarterback.
“Jayson, L.F.G. I love watching you play! Good luck, 7X SB champ.” Brady inscribed on the No. 2 portion of the jersey – with his signature taking up the majority of the No. 1.

After pushing the end of beer sales to the end of the eighth inning, the Brewers have decided to revert back to capping beer sales after seven innings moving forward, a team spokesman told JR Radcliffe of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
American Family Field initially allowed beer for an extra inning as a way to work around MLB’s new pitch clock rules, which have shortened games considerably. The move was meant to combat potential revenue losses created by the quicker pace of play.

Anthony Davis was his usual dominant self defensively, despite not recording a single block in the game.
