Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Colorado’s Cinderella story took another hit Sunday as coach Deion Sanders’ and his No. 19 Buffaloes stampeded from the top 25 in the Associated Press media and USA Today coaches’ polls after a 42-6 loss to Oregon on Saturday night.

“That was a good old-fashioned butt kicking. No excuses,” Sanders said after the game that saw Oregon take a 35-0 lead by halftime. Oregon outgained Colorado 522 yards to 199 and garnered 30 first downs to 13.

Deshaun Watson just set the forward pass backwards
The Cleveland Browns might be 1-1 as Week 3 unfolds, but few fans are happy with the state of their passing game. Quarterback Deshaun Watson has struggled throwing the football, and looks nothing like the passer that was given a five-year, $230 million guaranteed contract.
This play against the Tennessee Titans will do little to change that sentiment, as Watson takes a new approach to the forward pass.
By launching one backwards:

The long standoff between the Heat and Trail Blazers rages on as no deal has yet to be done regarding Damian Lillard with no resolution in sight. The star point guard has made it clear he only wants to be traded to Miami but it has become apparent that Portland may be looking for more than what the Heat can offer. Apparently, the Trail Blazers have gone so far as to give the Hear the silent treatment.
During an appearance on the D-Lo & KC Show on Thursday, Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes said Portland has stopped hearing Miami out in regards to a possible trade.

The J-E-T-S are a M-E-S-S, and so is their field.
The standard all-green end zones at MetLife Stadium feature ‘Jets’ written in all-caps with white paint. But as the New York Jets prepared for their Week 3 matchup against the New England Patriots, fans couldn’t help but notice something wrong with the end zones.
See, whoever painted the letters must have accidentally stepped on them before they dried. That, or they wiped their feet in an entire bucket of paint.
Because the end zone is covered with white footprints.

Deshaun Watson’s first full season as the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns has not gotten off to a great start. He looked awful in a Week 2 loss to the Steelers and on Sunday against the Titans he had one of the most embarrassing plays of the year.
Watson was scrambling out of the pocket when he decided to throw the ball behind him before he was taken down. Thankfully for the Browns, running back Elijah Moore was able to recover the ball but he still got taken down for a big loss on the play.
This was not a good look for Watson:

The Minnesota Vikings, who won 13 games last year, are not off to a great start. They are winless after losing each of their first two games. There are many reasons for that but the most glaring is turnovers.
In Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota turned the ball over three times and lost despite out-gaining the Bucs by over 100 yards.
In Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota lost the turnover battle 4-1. That put them at -6 in turnover differential for the season.

The Dolphins’ offense is too much fun.
The Miami Dolphins own the most fun offense in the NFL. Head coach Mike McDaniel is an X’s and O’s genius, Tyreek Hill might be the most explosive receiver in the league, and QB Tua Tagovailoa seems to prove his doubters wrong every week. Miami’s offense put up another highlight to remember early in their Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos.
The Dolphins got on the board early with a Tua bomb to Hill. Miami scored again when rookie running back De’Von Achane found the end zone on an eight-yard run.
