In case you were wondering, Florida will hold its Spring game tonight. For Gator fans, this will be the first public viewing of what life will look like without Anthony Richardson taking snaps. Stay calm is the best advice I can give you, with this battle heading for the summer.
Sure, Richardson wasn’t around long enough in Gainesville for fans of college football to get a full glimpse at what could’ve been for Florida. But don’t worry Florida fans, he’ll bring enough attention to the football program over the next few weeks in the NFL Draft.

The strings. You must notice the strings. If there was one tangible piece of evidence in spring training camp that best captured how Chris Young is going to rebuild the Rangers, it is those strings.
They are a pair of parallel, yellow strings strung tautly across the bottom of the strike zone in front of the home plates corresponding with the six-pack of bullpen mounds.
Such strings were once a staple of camps, no more famously than behind the clubhouse at Dodgers camp in Vero Beach, Fla.

A golf ball that Tiger Woods used during his runaway win at the 1997 Masters has sold at auction for over $64,000.
While there is no arguing that the golf ball is a piece of golf history, the details about the artifact make the price tag seem extremely high.
Julian Nexsen was the seller of the golf ball and was just nine years old when Woods handed him the ball at Augusta National in ’97. It wasn’t the golf ball Woods used on the final hole of the tournament, however, it was the ball he used on the fifth hole during the final round, a hole he actually made a bogey on.

The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets are reportedly at an impasse when it comes to dealing Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers made it clear in March during an interview with Pat McAfee he wants to continue his NFL career with the Jets.
The proclamation sent shockwaves through the NFL world, but since then, there’s been very little public movement. In fact, there’s been virtually none. Outside of Jets GM Joe Douglas guaranteeing Rodgers will join the team, the public has seen very little to suggest a deal is near closing.

I know what you’re thinking right out of the bat here—we’re really going to talk about a walk? A walk? We’re here to talk about a walk?
Yes, Allen Iverson, we are. Because this base on balls by Freddie Freeman in Wednesday night’s Dodgers-Giants game was not your average walk.
This was a 15-pitch marathon that included nine straight fouls balls. NINE!
This was an at-bat that took almost six minutes.
This walk came with the bases loaded in a tie game between two rivals who can’t stand each other.
This walk drove in a run!
This walk was pure art.

Before Angel Reese, Louisiana State had Seimone Augustus. Now a WNBA retiree, erstwhile coach and author, Augustus, 38, led the Tigers to three straight Final Fours in the aughts. Though they never captured the magic of winning it all, Augustus, of course, would get her turn in the pros: As a core part of the Lynx’ dynasty, the guard won league titles in 2011, ’13, ’15 and ’17.
The eight-time All-Star is on par with Shaquille O’Neal for the greatest athlete to come out of LSU—even if Shaq himself doesn’t agree.

The Atlanta Falcons have had a busy, and by any standard, productive offseason. They have significantly improved their roster.
But, this is going to blow your mind, it could be a problem.
We’ll get to the problematic part in a few paragraphs but first the good news: Coach Arthur Smith’s team was 7-10 a season ago and never really relevant in any postseason conversation the final two months of the season.

David Morris, a private quarterbacks coach and the founder of QB Country, was in the gym one day, staring at the kid sitting against the wall doing an arm care routine. He was 6’4″, pushing 230 pounds with white-blond hair and blue eyes.
“Dude,” Morris said to him. “I guarantee your great-great-grandfather is Viking or something.”
Holton Ahlers laughed. As a matter of fact, Ahlers’s brother had just done an Ancestory.com search. He wasn’t just part Viking, he was Viking royalty, a bloodline descendant of Ragnar Lothbrok.

Bailey Zappe is ready to roll as QB1 for the Patriots if his number is called.
Zappe surprised some people last season with some pretty impressive play at times for a fourth round QB, and it created a bit of an in-season QB controversy with Mac Jones.
The play between the two even split the locker room, Devin McCourty revealed in a recent interview. Now, all eyes are on whether or not Bill Belichick will roll with the team’s former first round pick in Mac Jones or pivot to Bailey Zappe to open the 2023 season.
