The Patriots announced their preseason matchup against the Packers was terminated in the fourth quarter after cornerback Isaiah Bolden was carted off the field with an injury.
The team provided an update on Bolden after the game, stating that he “had feeling in all his extremities, but has been taken to a local hospital for further tests and observation.”
While trying to break up a pass from Green Bay’s Sean Clifford to Malik Heath, Bolden appeared to take an accidental hit to the head from his own teammate, linebacker Calvin Munson.

Bolden collided with a teammate early in the fourth quarter
Saturday night’s preseason game between the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers was suspended with over ten minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, following a scary collision involving Patriots rookie cornerback Isaiah Bolden.
Bolden was covering a receiver on a slant route, and collided with teammate Calvin Munson. Following the collision, Bolden lay motionless on the turf at Lambeau Field, as medical personnel quickly came to his aid.

There was a scary moment in Saturday night’s preseason game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets when Bucs quarterback John Wolford had to be carted off the field.
In the third quarter, Wolford was sacked by Jets defensive lineman Isaiah Mack. Wolford took a hefty shot that seemed to get him mostly in the shoulder, but it caused him to hit the turf awkwardly.

Obviously, it looked nasty, and it was immediately apparent there was an issue when Wolford didn’t get up.
Buccaneers quarterback John Wolford was stretchered off the field and taken to a hospital after taking a hard hit during Tampa Bay’s preseason clash against the Jets on Saturday.
According to Buccaneers reporter Scott Smith, Wolford sustained a neck injury but has movement in his extremities. The 27-year-old will be evaluated at a local hospital in New Jersey.
The incident occurred in the third quarter of Saturday’s preseason game. Wolford was sacked on the first play of Tampa Bay’s drive.
