The 2-year-old daughter of Buccaneers linebacker Shaquil Barrett died Sunday after drowning in the family’s pool. 
Tampa Bay Police report that officers responded to an emergency call from Barrett’s residence around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, regarding a child who had fallen into the pool. Barrett’s daughter, Arrayah, was transported to a nearby hospital where doctors attempted to perform lifesaving measures, though she was later pronounced dead. 
An investigation into the situation is ongoing, though it’s believed the incident was an accident, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Heat fans collectively held their breath Sunday afternoon when Jimmy Butler appeared to suffer a significant ankle injury and could be seen in serious pain on the hardwood in Game 1 against the Knicks. Despite the apparent pain, Butler remained in the game with a noticeable limp and Miami pulled out a 108–101 win. After the game, Butler was asked how the injury is feeling. 
“Like a rolled ankle,” he responded.

U.S. Olympic track and field legend Ralph Boston died Sunday at the age of 83 following complications from a recent stroke, according to Mike Organ of The Tennessean.
Boston, born on May 9, 1939, in Laurel, Miss., rose to prominence ahead of the 1960 Olympics in Rome following a standout career at Tennessee State. During an Olympic tune-up meet in August 1960, Boston set the long jump world record with a leap of 26 feet and 11.25 inches, besting the mark set by the legendary Jesse Owens 25 years prior by three inches.

The Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday afternoon in the NBA Playoffs. The Heat went into Madison Square Garden in New York City and beat the Knicks on their home floor. As part of the broadcast coverage, ESPN/ABC used some stock video of the city.
Unfortunately, that footage is over 20 years old and shows the Twin Towers still standing.
During halftime of the game, ESPN/ABC showed Steph Curry heading into the arena for the upcoming NBA Playoffs Game 7 between the Warriors and Kings. Then, it went to commercial break.

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland tied the Premier League record for the most single-season goals with his 34th coming during Sunday’s match vs. Fulham.
Haaland scored the record-tying goal in the third minute, a goal that helped Manchester City win 2–1. Haaland now holds the record with Alan Shearer (1994–95) and Andy Cole (1993–94), who also scored 34 goals in a single season. The win put Manchester City atop the Premier League standings.

In the midst of a losing road trip, the Yankees are still awaiting an update on the status of injured slugger Aaron Judge, who hasn’t played since Thursday while dealing with a strained hip.
