This view of Leclerc’s qualifying run illustrates how tricky the Baku City Circuit can be
With its long straights, elevation changes, and tricky turns the Baku City Circuit is one of the tougher courses on the Formula One circuit. But for the third-straight season, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc tamed the Azerbaijan circuit, qualifying on pole position.
Thanks to a video shared by F1, you can see his entire qualifying run, which puts the tricky circuit on full display.

New Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, the No. 8 pick in Thursday’s first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, has been repping his new team since long before draft day.
Robinson, an Arizona native who spent his college career putting up monster numbers at Texas, shared a picture on Twitter on Friday of himself in a red and black youth football uniform with “Falcons” in small print across the front of the jersey. There even appears to be a logo on the sleeve that matches the Atlanta Falcons’ logo.
After a productive decade in the NFL, veteran running back Giovani Bernard announced his retirement on Twitter on Friday.
“10 years ago, I came into this league grateful. Grateful for what God has done for me to get to that moment and to celebrate all the obstacles that were overcome. And now fast forward 10 years, I leave humbled. Humbled by the experiences, relationships, and memories that have shaped me during this time,” Bernard wrote.
After Wrexham AFC earned promotion to the English Football League Two last weekend, the club made a run at retired soccer star Gareth Bale.
However, the 33-year-old Bale turned down the overtures from club owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Earlier this week, Reynolds and McElhenney made their pitches to Bale after the Welsh star offered up his congratulations to Wrexham on for the club’s promotion.
“Let’s play golf, where I totally won’t spend 4 hours trying to convince you to un-retire for one last magical season,” McElhenney tweeted at Bale.
The biggest question heading into the second round of the 2023 NFL draft on Friday night is when former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis will finally get picked and by which team.
One franchise that doesn’t need another quarterback is the Colts. They scooped up Anthony Richardson with the No. 4 pick in Thursday night’s first round.
That didn’t stop the team’s owner, Jim Irsay, from tweeting a ridiculous question to Colts fans about whether they would take Levis, too, with the fourth pick of the second round and pair him with Richardson. That would just be really, really dumb.
Why draft one quarterback when you can draft two? That seems to be the question on the mind of Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay based on the tweet about Will Levis he fired off Friday afternoon.

The Colts drafted Anthony Richardson with the fourth-overall pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday night. Levis, a quarterback the Colts were linked to heading into the draft, is still available and Irsay seems to be at least entertaining the idea of snagging him.
The NFL Draft is where stars are born, and not just those who make their money on the gridiron. Saints prospect Brian Bresee’s girlfriend is one of those emerging stars.
While all most eyes are on the prospects, other eyes are on their girlfriends (especially if your girlfriend is on her phone). On Thursday night, Bresee’s girlfriend Paige Comerford effectively made her NFL debut.
The former Clemson defensive tackle was selected 28th overall and will head to the Big Easy to sure up the Saints’ defense.
Suns star Kevin Durant joins Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the only NBA players to have secured lifetime deals with Nike.
Welsh legend Gareth Bale won’t be coming out of retirement to play for Wrexham, despite pleas from the club’s Hollywood actor co-owners.
One of the highest-profile names in the transfer portal picked Texas on Thursday night, with Oral Roberts transfer guard Max Abmas, a Texas native, announcing his commitment to join Rodney Terry and the Longhorns. Abmas is most known for leading Oral Roberts to the Sweet 16 in 2021, when he scored 25 points in three straight NCAA tournament games to become one of the stars of March.
There’s no question Abmas has his limitations.
