The Eagles seemed pretty pleased with taking Jalen Carter with the 9th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Their fans seemed to be pretty pumped about it too, and so did the team’s center, Jason Kelce.
Kelce was in Kansas City — which is traditionally his brother’s stomping grounds — and took some time to give a toast to the newest Eagle with some fans who had made the trek.

In the midst of celebrating the biggest night of his career, Steelers first-round pick Broderick Jones took a moment to share how he plans to honor late Georgia teammate Devin Willock as he enters his first NFL season.
Jones, the 14th pick in the 2023 NFL draft, announced Friday he will pay homage to Willock, who was killed in a car accident on Jan. 15, by switching from No. 59 to No. 77—Willock’s number at Georgia. Jones’s touching tribute comes as the rookie offensive lineman had been searching for a new number because Pittsburgh no longer issues a No.

NEW ORLEANS – Quarterback Max Duggan is more than three inches taller than Bryce Young – 6-foot-1 and a half to 5-10.

Return, if you will, to the summer of 2011—Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Abby Wambach, “Rolling in the Deep,” and so on.
In the basketball world, the Heat were licking their wounds after losing to the Mavericks in six games in the NBA Finals. One of the fun things about the NFL Draft is that sometimes players’ families upstage the players themselves. It’s their night, but sometimes siblings, parents, or girlfriends steal the show. Indianapolis Colts draft pick Anthony Richardson’s younger brother was one of these show stealers.
Ahead of the draft, it was reported that Richardson and his younger brother were going to dress alike for the big night. That’s a cool idea, and they executed it well.
However, it wasn’t the threads that got people talking. It was what happened when the 13-year-old was handed a microphone.

The Steelers, who obtained the pick last year from the Bears in exchange for wideout Chase Claypool, hold a strongly-desired selection as teams have players with first-round grades who remain on their big board heading into Round 2.
Pittsburgh traded away their fourth-round pick (No.
