Giannis Antetokounmpo responded to boos from his home fans in kind, giving two thumbs-down to the crowd following an and-1 layup during Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Wolves.
Former Wisconsin point guard Chucky Hepburn took to social media to react to the Badgers’ buzzer-beating win over Minnesota on Tuesday night.
Wisconsin’s dramatic triumph came thanks to junior guard John Blackwell, who finished the contest with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists, while shooting 8-of-14 from the floor and 5-of-7 from 3. Most importantly, he delivered the game-winning moment in the final seconds. After Minnesota tied the game at 75 with a dramatic 3-pointer of its own, Blackwell caught the inbounds pass with four seconds remaining.
A frustrating season continued for the Milwaukee Bucks with their 139-106 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night. It was their 18th defeat in their last 27 games and as they left the court halftime down 76-45 the fans inside Fiserv Forum let them hear it with a chorus of boos.
Those boos would be surprisingly returned later on in the game by their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, after he hit a shot in the paint and was fouled.
Antetokounmpo gestured thumbs down to the crowd twice and let out an audible boo.

And that’s when it became clear Azeez Al-Shaair was sending a different message.
As he did during the game, Al-Shaair wore his eye black to the interview. And the inscription on it was clear as day: “Stop The Genocide.
