Bud Grant, the only man to ever play in the NFL, CFL, and NBA, has died at the age of 95.
Born in Wisconsin, Grant played college football, basketball, and baseball for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. After his collegiate career had come to a close, Grant was drafted by the Minneapolis Lakers in the NBA draft, as well as the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL draft.
Grant played two seasons with the Lakers (including an NBA championship in 1950), then played a pair of seasons with the Eagles.

The Pelicans, in the thick of a crowded race for Western Conference playoff position, may soon have the services of their star once again.
New Orleans forward Zion Williamson is expected back by playoff time, according to a Friday report from Sam Amick of The Athletic. Williamson has not played since Jan. 2 due to a hamstring injury; the Pelicans announced on Wednesday that Williamson will be re-evaluated “in approximately two weeks.

METAIRIE, La. – Throughout most of quarterback Derek Carr’s nine-year NFL career with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, if he saw a good defense, he was usually playing against it.
Such was the case last Oct. 30 in a 24-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. Carr completed 15 of 26 passes for 101 yards with an interception while Vegas rushed for 38 yards on 13 carries. The Raiders finished 6-11 for their sixth losing season in Carr’s career.

Few things can get a hockey crowd whipped into a fervor quite like a goalie fight, and that’s what a pair of ECHL goalies did for the good hockey fans of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
It happened in a tilt between two ECHL teams, with the ECHL two steps below the NHL with the American Hockey League in between. Think of it as hockey’s version of Double-A ball (or in this case, puck).
The Wheeling Nailers — affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins were in Fort Wayne for a pair of games against eh Fort Wayne Komets, the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.

Ja Morant reportedly blew through $50,000 at his now very public trip to a Colorado strip club last week, and a couple whistleblowers have released the pictures.
And they’re … something.
Photos obtained by the New York Post show Morant getting his money’s worth during a lap dance at Shotgun Willie’s last weekend, where he shelled out at least $50,000 in tips in a two-night bender.
“The whole room is full of money — it’s literally a pile,” one witness told the Post. “You’d need a rake.
