I know the San Francisco Giants aren’t having the best year. They’re under .500 at the moment and 5 games back from the NL West-leading Dodgers.
But I think they could be a team to watch after the series they just had with the Houston Astros. The Giants took two of three against the defending World Series champs, all while a huge chunk of the team was dealing with some major intestinal issues.
Pitcher Logan Webb said he was proud of his team for performing given how many dudes were in and out of the clubhouse toilets.

C.J. Stroud wasted no time letting his new team know what he needed. Shortly after he was drafted by the Texans last week, the former Ohio State quarterback told team leadership that he wanted them to draft a specific player—and they did just that.

The Houston Texans selected Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud second overall in the NFL Draft. Many believe that was the plan all along and everything else was a smokescreen.
However, OutKick spoke to a source that said Stroud’s visit to Houston was “terrible.” The coaching staff and front office were not sold on him, which is why so many reports came out saying they might try to trade the pick or take a defensive player.
It seems as though the ownership group possibly stepped in and wanted Stroud. That makes sense.
