Fever general manager Lin Dunn was in Dallas for the women’s Final Four when her phone flooded with messages of congratulations. At first, Dunn was unsure what could have happened to make her phone blow up to this degree, but soon it became clear. Aliyah Boston had announced her decision to forgo her extra year of availability at South Carolina and declare for the WNBA draft. With this year’s No. 1 pick, it’s all but certain Indiana will select the former NCAA champion and former Naismith Player of the Year.
“Obviously, we’re very high on Aliyah Boston,” says Dunn.

The 2023 NFL Draft class is loaded at the cornerback position. As things currently stand, as many as six cornerbacks could be selected in the first round with three likely to go in the top 15 picks. Perhaps the one with the highest ceiling of the bunch is University of Oregon’s Christian Gonzalez. The University of Colorado transfer is one of the best athletes in the class, which in turn gives him one of the highest ceilings amongst any player.

Spring games are a great opportunity for fans to get an early look at the roster for the upcoming season. It’s an easy way for people to get excited, and spring games are always more fun when there’s a QB battle underway.
Well, the opposite might be true for the Tigers after Saturday. Robby Ashford, TJ Finley and Holden Geriner combined to go an abysmal 5-12 through air for 60 net yards in wet and rainy conditions, according to the Dothan Eagle.

Hendon Hooker is generating some serious interest ahead of the NFL Draft getting underway.
The NFL Draft will open with the first round April 27, and C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young are viewed as the top two quarterbacks.
After those two, there’s a second group of possible first rounders that includes Anthony Richardson, Will Levis and Hendon Hooker. Hooker might surprise some people by going ahead of the other two former SEC QBs, according to NFL Network reporter James Palmer.
Momentum appears to be growing for Hendon Hooker ahead of the draft.

UFC icon Georges St-Pierre has no interest in getting in the ring against Floyd Mayweather for a boxing match.
Mayweather already fought one UFC star when he beat Conor McGregor back in 2017. A rematch is also supposedly in the works. Apparently, Mayweather wanted to find himself also in the ring against an MMA legend not named Conor McGregor.
The Canadian-born fighter revealed during an interview with Aaron Bronsteter that he’s been made multiple offers to fight Mayweather.

It’s been a great season to be Indiana Pacers rookie Bennedict Mathurin. Until now.
Boasting an impressive rookie campaign this season, Mathurin — picked sixth overall in last year’s draft — has quickly gained the support of his Pacers teammates.
After Mathurin’s final game of his rookie year — which was, as expected, an exceptional showcase — his teammates threw him a wrap party. And by that, we mean encasing the rookie’s car in clear wrap.

While the NBA world fired off hot takes over the Timberwolves’ drama on Sunday, franchise legend Kevin Garnett offered a much more optimistic take on the situation.
During Sunday’s game against the Pelicans, Minnesota’s star center Rudy Gobert threw a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson following a dispute during a timeout. The two were separated from one another and the team opted to send Gobert home from the game.
Despite the controversial incident during the T-Wolves’ regular-season finale, Garnett thinks it can be used as a way to energize the team.
