Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been medically cleared to resume football activities only three months after going into cardiac arrest on an NFL field.
Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane said Tuesday morning Hamlin was given the okay after all three of his specialists said he was “fully cleared.”
“He is fully cleared. He’s here,” Beane told reporters. “He’s in a great headspace to make his return.”

We’re in the middle of a massive salary boom in the NFL. Soaring revenue has led to a major increase in the salary cap over the last decade, with the 2013 figure soaring from $123.6M to $224.8 million in a decade. This isn’t slowing down either. Quarterbacks, naturally, are seeing the biggest benefits first.

The NBA playoffs continue Tuesday evening and two of the three series on the schedule had especially entertaining Game 1s over the weekend that saw both road teams take early leads.
The fifth-seeded Knicks stole the first game of their series against the fourth-seeded Cavaliers on Saturday, 101-97. In the other 4–5 matchup, the Clippers upset the Suns, 115-110, on Sunday in Phoenix’s first postseason game with Kevin Durant.

Hamlin suffered a terrifying cardiac situation last season against the Cincinnati Bengals and was hospitalized for days.
It’s still not known what caused the medical emergency. When Hamlin had the chance to discuss the issue, he declined to get into specifics. That means the public might never know what happened during Monday Night Football.
However, what is now known is that Hamlin is ready to roll.

Chris Paul and the Suns might not have luck on their side when they face the Clippers for Game 2 in the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs on Tuesday night.
Scott Foster will work as the crew chief of the officiating crew in Phoenix on Tuesday. The last 13 playoff games in which Foster has been on the officiating crew when Paul has played in the game, the star point guard’s team has lost, according to Meadowlark Media’s Tom Haberstroh.
Last season, the streak continued when Foster worked the Suns’ loss in Game 2 vs. the Pelicans in the first round.

Leon Edwards is the reigning, defending UFC welterweight champion.
It is a position he attained through incredible will and resolve. Edwards (21–3, 1 NC) made his UFC debut in 2014, where he has won 13 of his 15 bouts. His ’15 loss to Kamaru Usman was avenged last summer, when he added a timeless replay to his highlight reel with a Hail Mary head kick in the fifth and final round at UFC 278.

If the world championship of snooker isn’t even immune to obnoxious protests, is anything sacred?
A protestor of the “Look at me” variety wound up delaying a world championship snooker match.
It happened at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England, or to many, the center — or, more accurately, “centre” — of the snooker universe.
There, snooker titans Robert Milkins and Joe Perry (not the guitarist from Aerosmith… I’m assuming) were in the midst of a match when a protestor jumped on the table and busted open a pack of orange dye.

Draymond Green stomped on Domantas Sabonis while he was lying on the floor and was ultimately ejected from Game 2 between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings on Monday night. It was without question the biggest moment of the game, but Golden State head coach Steve Kerr claims he didn’t see it.
Every single person inside the arena had their attention turned toward Sabonis lying on the floor and Green jumping in the air acting as if he didn’t purposefully just stomp another grown man, except Kerr, of course.

When the Carolina Panthers pulled off their early-March trade with the Chicago Bears to move to the top of the 2023 NFL Draft, they gave themselves an opportunity to take their time, evaluate all of the quarterback options available to them in the draft, and make a well-informed decision.
Reading the tea leaves, it seems that decision has been reached.

There was a time—an extremely long period of time—in which the Warriors could largely get away with making certain mistakes.
Golden State could often turn the ball over. It could turn on the jets for just one incredible third quarter. The club could lean on the greatness of its superstar, Stephen Curry.
But what we’re seeing in this series against the No. 3 seed Kings is relatively clear: The Warriors no longer enjoy the vast margin for error that they used to.
