Everyone in the NFL makes a lot of money but sometimes the contract a player gets screams game-changer. We have that on Friday with Houston Texans edge rusher Will Anderson Jr.
Anderson has agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $150 million that includes a reported $100 million fully guaranteed, OutKick has confirmed. 
NFL Network was first to report the deal.
And it is a blockbuster.
The extension obviously averages out to $50 million per season on an annual average basis and that makes Anderson Jr.

The Illinois Fighting Illini reached the Final Four of the 2026 men’s NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005. Illinois ended up losing a tight game to the UConn Huskies before Michigan cut down the nets in the national championship game. Most programs as successful as Illinois was this past season are scrambling right now to replace the loss of key players to the NBA Draft or the transfer portal. The Illini are the exception, and it’s setting them up for another big year next season.

Gujarat Titans have brought in promising South African wicketkeeper-batter Connor Esterhuizen as a replacement for England’s Tom Banton, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League 2026 season due to a finger injury.
The 24-year-old Esterhuizen arrives with a rising reputation after a breakthrough international outing against New Zealand last month. In what was his maiden T20I series, the young batter lit up the five-match contest, scoring 200 runs at an impressive strike rate of 145.98.

The Clemson Tigers and coach Brad Brownell have added a big piece to their 2026 transfer portal class.
Dylan Faulkner, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward who transferred from Samford, committed to the Tigers on Friday, a source told On3. Faulkner earned First Team All-Conference honors as a junior with the Bulldogs last season and averaged 17.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
Earlier this week, Clemson basketball added former Samford assistant coach Tyler Murray as its general manager.
