The best news to come out of the weekend for Mauricio Pochettino and the U.S. men’s national team was not Ricardo Pepi’s scoring form or Sergiño Dest’s moment of brilliance. (More on that later.) No, Pochettino was undoubtedly most heartened by the sight of Antonee Robinson in Fulham’s uniform for the first time in more than two months and in a Premier League starting lineup for the first time since May.

With 24 goals last season, the forward has established herself as a fundamental piece of the blaugrana project. 191 matches, with 86 goals and 49 assists, back her up.
There was a time in the not-too-distant past when UFC fans thought Jamahal Hill was not on the same level as Jan Blachowicz; which not surprisingly, caused “Sweet Dreams” to have a profanity-laced meltdown.
Time to find out once and for all.
Blachowicz used social media to challenge Hill to a 2026 showdown and Hill was quick to respond.

Błachowicz (29-11-2) is ranked two spots above Hill (12-4, 1 NC) in the official light heavyweight rankings.
8-6, four losses in a row, and the playoffs look further and further away each week, but gaddumit this one was fun. I cannot bring myself to be mad about this one. Yes it would have been amazing to win it, especially after being so close, but everyone gave their uttermost effort yesterday, and the coaching was elite, against such a tough and formidable opponent. It was also Philip Rivers’ first game back, and to my surprise he actually looked somewhat decent, which gives me a bit of hope for the end.

With limited NBA action due to the NBA knockout rounds, there are some repeat names in this week’s column. Not every name on this list has carried over from last week, however, and we’ve got some new options to consider.
As we head into the new week, Dallas’ frontcourt depth is even more shallow, opening up a major opportunity for P.J. Washington. Frontcourt injuries in Sacramento, Cleveland, Memphis and Washington have put three role players on the map, and defensive studs in LA and New Orleans are ready to contribute for fantasy managers.
The Seahawks didn’t score a touchdown on Sunday and they allowed a 44-year-old quarterback who hadn’t played since 2020 to put together a go-ahead drive in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, but neither of those things were at the forefront of Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald’s mind after the game.
After Rashid Shaheed returned a kickoff to Seattle’s 37-yard line, he caught two passes from Sam Darnold for 25 yards to set up Jason Myers’ game-winning field goal with 18 seconds left to play.
