What a day. What a WEEKEND of college football. 
Alabama and Oklahoma gave us an all-timer last night. Frankly, it washed away the sour taste of last year’s dud of an opening round. It was electric. Norman was absolutely electric. 
The same can be said about Texas A&M today, where the Aggies hosted the Miami Hurricanes at Kyle Field. What an atmosphere. It’s what college football is all about. 
To be honest, the atmosphere is what separates college football and … everything else. Forget the NFL. I’m talking about every other major sport.

Liverpool star Alexander Isak finally got a Premier League goal for his new club but the joy was instantly dimmed by an apparent serious injury to his left leg.
Isak ran onto a gorgeous through ball by Florian Wirtz and buried a shot past Guglielmo Vicario while Micky van de Ven slid through the Swedish striker.
The 26-year-old was in clear distress and did not celebrate his goal after his left leg was caught between the cutting legs of Van de Ven.
He needed to be helped from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium pitch for Jeremie Frimpong in the 60th minute.

Isak was threaded through and scored a great left-footed goal to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead on Saturday evening at Tottenham Hotspur.
But on the goal, Isak’s left leg was slid into by Spurs defender Mickey van de Ven, who was just trying to block the shot.
Isak was in immediate pain. He had no intention of celebrating the goal.
