The Vikings are in trouble. Not just for their season, which effectively got flushed down the drain with a 19-17 loss to the Bears on Sunday — but their future is suddenly looking very bleak at the QB position. J.J. McCarthy didn’t just have a bad game by his standards. It was an awful affair both in terms of the box score, but more alarming how McCarthy played the game.
It’s foolish to look at the score and assume McCarthy played “okay,” simply because he managed to keep the game close and throw a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
With a 2-7 record heading into Week 11, the Las Vegas Raiders are the underdogs heading into this week’s Monday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are coming off a bye week, and Monday’s game will be their first without defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland, who passed away on Nov. 6. Here’s what you need to know to tune into Monday Night Football’s Cowboys vs. Raiders game.
How to watch the Dallas Cowboys vs. Las Vegas Raiders:
Date: Monday, Nov. 17, 2025

For the first time since September Penn State has won a football game. 8 weeks without a victory. Several – mostly? – near misses, but for the first time since playing Villanova the Lions had a higher score than their opponent when the clock struck aughts.
And I gotta say, I’m happy.
For beating a meh-to-bad Michigan State team, I’m happy.
For finally getting the monkey off Terry Smith’s back, I’m happy.
For the players that have been playing hard against a gauntlet of a schedule, I’m happy.
For Penn Staters everywhere, I’m happy.
The NFC North remained one of the tightest divisions in football after Week 11’s action.
The Detroit Lions knew what they needed to do to stay at the top of the table ahead of their Sunday Night Football matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Lions entered the night in second place with a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Chicago Bears.
Let’s look at how the rest of the division played out on Sunday:
Packers 27, Giants 20
The Green Bay Packers went on the road for what was expected to be a pretty routine win against a banged-up New York Giants team on Sunday.
Plans for former Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar to have a liver transplant were scuttled last week, but Kosar announced on Sunday night that an operation is moving forward.
Kosar announced that he was scheduled for a Monday morning transplant and thanked his followers for their support. Kosar had multiple procedures last week to deal with internal bleeding after his transplant was called off because the donor organ was infected.
Kosar said last year that he has been dealing with Parkinson’s disease and cirrhosis of the liver.
Italy 1-4 Norway – Italian Press Blasts Inter Milan Duo After Embarrassing World Cup Qualifying Defeat
Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella flopped in last night’s showdown between Italy and Norway.
Corriere della Sera via FCInter1908 slammed the Nerazzurri duo for a woeful performance in Italy’s disastrous 4-1 defeat at San Siro.
Francesco Pio Esposito netted his first goal at Giuseppe Meazza to open the scoring in the 11th minute.
However, the 20-year-old’s heroics were in vain as Norway turned the game on its head in the second half.
The Detroit Lions couldn’t make their mark on the NFC against the defending Super Bowl champions on Sunday night, falling to the Philadelphia Eagles 16-9.
The Lions played as well of a game on defense as they’ve played all season, but the offense couldn’t get anything going. Pressure from the Eagles’ pass rush kept quarterback Jared Goff off his game throughout the night, and a handful of failed conversions and poor decisions left points on the board that could’ve made a difference in the game.

Rising Demand for Gonzalo García as Premier League Clubs Circle
There is something compelling about the moment a young forward steps from potential into prominence, and that is exactly where Gonzalo García now stands. The 21 year old has surged through Real Madrid’s youth ranks, catching the eye in first team training and prompting an unexpected flurry of Premier League attention.
Italy 1-4 Norway – Inter Milan Center-Back Flops: Wingback & Striker Among Rare Shining Lights
Inter Milan stars Alessandro Bastoni and Francesco Pio Esposito produced contrasting performances in last night’s clash between Italy and Norway.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri defender delivered another unimpressive showing for his country.
Francesco Pio Esposito broke the deadlock in Italy’s sobering 4-1 home loss on Sunday evening.
However, the 20-year-old’s memorable milestone failed to inspire a positive result for the Nerazzurri.
