The Los Angeles Clippers saw the return of Kawhi Leonard on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers, who handed the Clippers a 120-105 defeat at Rocket Arena.
Leonard made his first appearance in 10 games after missing time with a sprained right ankle and foot, contributing 20 points in 28 minutes of action.

Bristol City head coach Gerhard Struber said he was “super happy” with the win against Swansea, but that his team have to be “sharper” when they take on Wrexham on Wednesday.
The Robins beat the struggling Swans 3-0 at Ashton Gate on Saturday to move up to fourth in the Championship table.
City had captain Jason Knight back for the match after injury and Struber is expected to have more players returning from the sidelines for the trip to North Wales, the second of a run of 10 matches to New Year’s Day.

People on the Isle of Man have been invited to put forward their nominations for the island’s annual sporting achievements celebration.
There are 12 categories in 2025’s awards, including Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year.
Last year’s ceremony saw cyclist Mark Cavendish and equestrian star Yasmin Ingham take the top honours.
Organised by Isle of Man Sport, the award winners will be announced at a special ceremony at the Villa Marina in Douglas in February.
