On this new episode of the Land-Grant Podcast Network’s “Lunatic Fringe,” Gene Ross and Matt Tamanini dive into Saturday’s rivalry game as only two obsessive Ohio State alums can.
The Baltimore Ravens placed running back Justice Hill and defensive tackle Taven Bryan on injured reserve on Thursday ahead of their matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Both players will be out for at least four games. Their earliest return would come in Week 17 against the Packers.
Hill missed the Ravens’ last two games with a toe injury; upon returning to practice this week, he went down after hurting his neck. He did not participate in Tuesday or Wednesday’s session and his speedy transfer to IR does not bode well for his status moving forward.

The extended deadline for a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) expires this Sunday, Nov. 30. Based on all indications, the WNBA and WNBPA will not be expressing gratitude for the other side for making concessions, finding common ground and coming to terms on a new CBA this Thanksgiving weekend.
Instead, a stalemate that seems as crusty as day-old dressing persists, as both parties continue to leave the bargaining table unsatisfied.

The NFC North is supposed to be about physical football and harkening to the old Black and Blue division of yesteryear. But that’s not been the case for a couple of years now, because it’s really all about which team has the best quarterback play.
We saw that last year when Jordan Love had the third-best passer rating and third-most TD passes of the division’s QBs and the Packers finished third. Sam Darnold had the second-highest passer rating and second-most TD passes and the Minnesota Vikings finished second.
