Let’s say you walk into a 5-star hotel, dressed in designer clothes on your way to a function where dozens of A-list celebrities will also be.

Things got off to quite the start at Bethpage Black.
Keegan Bradley’s United States team struggled mightily and ultimately were out-classed by Luke Donald’s Europeans. Following the morning’s foursomes Team Europe leads the 2025 Ryder Cup by a score of 3-1. The day is only halfway over though and four-ball matches are up next.

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — They arrived at Bethpage Black hours before the dawn — tired, poor (from paying a thousand dollars a ticket), huddled masses yearning to cuss out Rory McIlroy. The American crowds that lined Bethpage’s fairways 20 and 30 deep sported every manner of patriotic garb you can imagine, from eagle-beak hats to Mount Rushmore costumes to USA basketball jerseys.
They cheered deliriously as the flyover thundered over Long Island. They booed as Jon Rahm took his first swing — like, all the way through the swing.

I get done with “Fantasy Football Live” on Sunday mornings right at kickoff. The quick transition from giving out analysis and taking in information is like the “The Darkest Timeline” sequence from “Community.” There’s so much happening at once.
